Through the collaboration of Heidi Krahling and Frank Villa, Marinitas delivers Latin focused lusciousness that is an exciting blend of the new and the familiar. The wine list mainly draws from the expansive selections of the best wine makers from Argentina and Chile. Cocktails focus on the silver and gold liquors of Central and South America. The bar is dedicated to classic cocktail preparations including citrus juice squeezed to order, house made sweet and sour made from unrefined cane sugars, along with the highest quality mixers. Best chips in Northern California!

I love Marinitas. The quality of the food is excellent and consistent...and I can walk to it from my home!

So , to be true ...we walked out tonight. We have dined here a few times before & the food has been ok. Our server last time was great and she would have been the same one tonight. I'm here to tell you that kids running around (a lot) in the restaurant and SCREAMING while the parents drank , ate... More

Fun time sitting at the bar with friendly bartenders and enjoying an array of appetizers! Finished off with splitting the pork and polenta entrée: yummy!!! The place was hopping on a summer Saturday evening!! Perks to Heidi!

The bar at Marinitas is lively, the food is delicious and the service is always great. One of my favorite places to meet up with friends.

This was a very nice experience from start to finish. We had no reservations, and the place was packed midweek at 5:30, yet hostess graciously found us a nice table. Ambience was pleasing. The bar scene was lively; the dining area was cozy. Noise level just fine. Service was prompt and pleasant. This is the spot for tequila aficionados, with... More

I wanted to like this place but it is packed with screaming kids. If you have little ones and you think it is great when they run around like loonies then this is the place for you. I guess adults can sit at the bar and have it more quiet. Anyway, both times I just wanted to talk to a... More

The atmosphere of this place is great, and it very nice and upscale looking restaurant. Since it is a nicer and upscale restaurant located in Marin, it is pretty pricey. Most of the plates are also somewhat small. One of us ordered tacos, and expected a little bit more than a few bites. All of the food was pretty good.... More

Marinitas is a classy yet informal place. The space is nice, tables are well-spaced and most at some distance from bar, service is excellent - prompt and helpful. Prices moderate - pretty good value. Extensive bar offerings, but house margaritas are very good. Queso fundido appetizer excellent; guacamole smallish but fairly priced. Good chips. The entrees we had, which included... More

Marinitas is a hopping spot on Sir Francis Drake Blvd. in San Anselmo. The bar is well stocked with tequila options and the folks behind the bar are friendly and professional. The menu is tilted a bit towards adults, however there are always families with kids enjoying themselves throughout the restaurant. Whether you want to grab a bite by yourself,... More
