Just walked up to Gino's maybe five minutes ago. A waiter walked up to check out the table arrangements. I smiled and said hello. He said nothing turned around and said nothing. So guess what i did turned around and walked out. My gf and I usually love to go to Gino's but I'm afraid I will not be going... More

Food was great. I had the Spaghetti Arturo (olive oil, garlic and bread crumbs). It was amazing. We came with a party of 8. We ordered 5 entrees and two sides. (no alcohol, sodas or coffee) The bill was over $100. I didn't even think about it until after we left. The charges just don't make sense. I guess it's... More

Fresh pasta dishes are the best to order. Local wines are featured monthly, you cannot miss with the special's they feature. My favorite is the fettuccine pescatore with great shrimp and seafood over fettuccine, love it!! The staff is exceptional, attentive and friendly. The best restaurant in Salinas hands down.

Had a chance to have dinner at ginos while we were visiting tha salinas Area. Right away when I drove up and saw a full parking lot I knew this had to be a great dining spot. The food was great, prices reasonable and had an enjoyable dinner

I am in the process of retiring to Salinas and spent some time there this summer. Gino's is in walking distance of the AirBnB I stayed in while in Salinas. All three of us had very different dishes. The calamari steak was great, as was the home made ravioli. I had a split of prosecco and there was another opened... More

We enjoyed the artichoke soup and the special, which included 3 items, one of which was excellent coconut shrimp/ Be careful about ordering manicotti - I was not careful in reading the description and it has no cheese in it, only meat, which I didn't like. But they didn't charge me for it, and brought me some of the cocounut... More

Once again we had an excellent experience at Gino's. We did not have a reservation but were still graciously seated. We each had a nice salad and then shared a fabulous lasagna with a bottle of Chianti. Portions are large and entres are excellent, so the price is reasonable. You get what you pay for! Wine prices are a bit... More

This restaurant is an absolute treasure. I just ate there for the second time, I wish I could eat there more often but I live in Las Vegas. The lasagna is delicious and the portion is big enough to share. The most memorable item is the artichoke bisque...you MUST try it, it's the best soup I've EVER had and it's... More

the food is excellent escpecially the daily specials like steak but prices have been going WAY UP so we don't go as often and sometimes get just pizza or appetizers & soup. Try the calamari & minestrone. And check out the bread basket - both types are awesome.
