We came for a big family (9 of us) breakfast and tried several of their "signature" dishes. All were excellent, fresh and served hot. Some of the combinations / skillets were things you might think of in a creative moment - and made very well. There were also little extras - the Mickey Mouse pancakes for the kids and abundant... I live in Salinas and this is always my first choice of places to go for breakfast. Everything I have ever had there has been delicious, but I especially like the blueberry pancakes (I usually order 2 and still can't finish them they're so big) and the fruit crepes (with yogurt in them). The service is always excellent, very attentive.... More

We stopped here for lunch (there is plenty of free parking in Salinas). Yummy food, nicely plated, with somewhat slow service for early afternoon (after 1 pm). Upscale interior. Their xxx.net webpage doesn't seem to work. (Kitty corner from great second-hand resale shop.)

We had breakfast here and it was good. Extremely large portions (but that's the difference between Europe and the USA in general), but very good food. Lovely staff who checked on us regularly. Would definitely go back.

My husband and I went here after an awful night at a close hotel, and it ALMOST made the night worth it. The breakfast was big and very good. I had the special egg-crepe combo with avocado and cheese, and it was very tasty. My husband had the award-winning eggs benedict, and said it was among the best he had... More

We were vacationing in the area and came in one morning for breakfast instead of eating at our hotel. Food was fresh and service was good. Very good cup of coffee and they leave a thermal decanter at the table.

We needed a breakfast place and saw the high reviews. The reviews are right. Great food and super nice servers. I got the special Shrimp Eggs Benedict. Fantastic. Best Eggs Benedict I've ever had. Shrimp, spinach, onion, tomato and mushroom but the Hollandaise sauce is to die for. I got the half and was sad I didn't get the full... More

Yum, and huge proportions! Plenty to share if you have a light appetite. No problem with seating this rime but can see how it would be packed quickly.

This restaurant is a charming look into the past, with warm interior enhanced by friendly staff. We were amazed at the variety of original items on the menu. As my husband commented to a couple checking out the menu outside the door, "The menu has many great things to choose from, and it's not expensive."
