Friendly atmosphere. food was very good. Enjoyed the beer sampling. Artichokes are so good! Lasagne was good, a little plain tasting. Parking is a little bit of a challenge. So we found a parking garage around the corner and the restaurant validated our parking ticket.

We stopped here for lunch before catching a flight at SJC. The food, beer and service were great and our server was friendly and attentive. There is a parking garage close by and they validate your parking.

Rancho Cielo had A Student Art Show and Silent Auction night with food and wine. The food, wine, artwork and service was excellent. The barbacoa sliders and turf and surf hors d'oeuvres were outstanding! All with a great view of Salinas!

Stopped here after a day hiking at Pinnacle National Park, so the IPA was refreshing and flavorful. They will let you taste any of the beers before ordering. Had the works burger which was cooked just right. Not my #1 burger, but definitely better than many other places. Others has the pork chop, artichoke soup, and mahi mahi, which they... More

Arrived early for movie so decided to eat here, I'm glad I did. You get a lot of food for the price, and the food is good. I had a glass of Pale Ale, only $3.75, and it also was good. I will definitely eat here again, all around a good place to eat and drink.

I was looking for a good meal, and the motel guy said this place had good seafood. The fact that they brew their own beer was icing on the cake. So I ordered the sea bass, a new item on their menu, and a Scottish Red Ale. I chose the beer after being offered a sample of a couple of... More

Beer, Beer, Beer. What? Oh, yes - lots of good food to go with that brew selection (some 20, many made on site). Noisy and fun. Parking is getting scarce, the area is recovering nicely. John Steinbeck Museum a block away.

The location close to Maya Cinema is good. Beer is OK. Food is OK. It is convenient, but the menu is a little tired.

Well, we're on our way back to southern CA from Seattle during the Christmas Holiday. This is the lasst leg of our trip for today and food sounded good. Specifically, beer. Favorable reviews brought us to the Monterey Coast Brew Company. The place is in a revitalized area in downtown Salinas with plenty of character. Parking was in the new... More

I can't comment on the food - just stopped here for a couple of pints. A true brew pub- there are six large tanks to my left. Quiet rock music no distracting sports Tvs. January 2013 pints are $5.50 Harvest wheat, hefeweizen, pilsner, pale ale, Scottish red ale, IPA, porter, Irish stout. Current seasonals include Octoberfest, and holiday winter ale.... More
