This small restaurant seats about 40ish. But the food is high quality. We started with a heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad which was nicely prepared. Along with dinner we had the roasted pardoned peppers. I had not had those before and they were tasty and not spicy. Being a fan of risotto, I had the dish of the day, which... More

I came here with my family on holidays and we had a very nice moment. I like the Italian bistro atmosphère of the place, and the food was delicious. Our hotel forgot to make a proper reservation, but the Cook staff accommodated with no problem. Recommended.

Cook comes highly recommended by many locals and we can see why. Our meal was excellent and the service was fast and attentive. Very good Italian menu items to choose from. It's sort of a small restaurant so seating is limited and reservations on almost any night are required. Expect to spend about $100 for dinner for 2 with a... More

Such great food with house made pastas, daily fish specials, yummy wines, fresh apps and salads, with seasonal if not weekly changes. Can be way TOO LOUD in the back, you can't even hear yourself think, but the front is better and the bar is great. They used to be just beer and wine, but now you can get basic,... More

Cook is a small place that turns out some of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. Consistently excellent food, friendly staff, great local wine list. There are two tables in the front that are hard to reserve so think about sitting at "the bar."

Amazing burger, great casual spot after the lux and lush of most of our other dining experiences in Napa. Great spot for a quick, tasty bite. Cool wine list and craft beer list too.

After reading all the reviews I thought I would venture out of Yountville and try this restaurant. The food was very average and dishes were simple and bland. We had the caprese salad to start , the tomatoes were delicious as well as the dressing, but the mozzarella was like rubber, could not cut or chew this. The main course... More

Ask any local in St. Helena and they will tell you to eat at Cook's Restaurant. Pick any dish on the menu and you will not be sorry. My favorite is their hamburger and brussel sprouts. The restaurant is small and cozy and always busy. The wait staff makes you feel welcomed and at home. Tasty food, clean restaurant, friendly... More

We popped in here for a quick lunch in between wine-tasting tours and filled up on some yummy food! I had the salmon topped risotto and it was heaven! The service was great and atmosphere casual but nice. Exactly how you want to dine in Napa!

Locals love this place....tried it twice and both times it was average at best. Sent back dishes on both occasions which I rarely do.....crowded and loud and small makes this a restaurant I stay away from. They try to be creative but they fall short. Oh well...plenty of great restaurants in the valley!!
