Wonderful food and a fantastic wine list featuring the best Napa has to offer. The ambiance was delightful. The service was attentive but not overly so. Probably the best crab and lobster cake I've ever had - and I've had quite a few. The lamb loin was spectacular! Particularly when paired with a Dunn Vineyards Howell Mountain cab. I can't... More

My Wife, some friends and I dined here last weekend. Always a great time and consistently great food. Get here a little early and start with a pre-dinner drink at the bar! Wonderful, and they stock many of the hard to find spirits like 209 Gin (made in San Francisco). In fact Press carried all three styles of 209! Great... More

I was here with a large private party, so we had over-the-top service on a beautiful patio surrounded by foliage and flowers. We started with a cucumber-mint gazpacho that was light and delicious. Two of us shared a NY strip, which was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The chicken, which another couple ordered, was a whole chicken, so ask about... More

Really enjoyed the complex flavors of the food and the simplicity of the menu! The roasted chicken was amazing along with onion rings and the best creamed kale I've eaten! Beautiful attentive service and a relaxing ambiance! Definitely a must in St Helena!

We went here for my birthday and enjoyed a high quality, if expensive, steak dinner, and good wine. I did really enjoy my experience, but I wished we were not seated so close to another table on a bench seat. I don't really understand the minimalist decor in some of these high end restaurants, but I felt it was a... More

I had read the other traveller reviews over the past few weeks and decided to see for myself. Well, I have eaten at many fine steak houses all over the world is this one does not disappoint. It is not the worlds finest, but for steak in napa valley it did not disappoint. First off, the offer two varieties of... More

We were so excited to try this restaurant and made reservations weeks in advance - and even responded to their request to call them back for confirmation. We were seated at a sub-par table, without being asked if we had a preference, even though the place was only half full. We had heard, from a lovely local vintner, that they... More

If you are eating having a bottle of wine expect a $200 bill but it was an awesome experience. The food was great and had good company with the table next to us.

Atmosphere and service were quite good and the corkage-friendly policy is a welcome pleasure for those great bottles you have purchased while wine tasting! However, our steaks were not cooked properly and needed to be sent back three times! While ultimately quite delicious, receiving the same piece of meat the third time became a bit disappointing. Otherwise, the starters and... More

Good quality food. Good quality service. It just lacks that spark, preventing it from being a great restaurant. We started our night out in the bar, which took FOREVER to get a drink. In fact, our 15 minute wait for our table was ready before the bartender was ready to serve us a drink. Ridic. We sat outside, which has... More
