We went to Press for dinner with two other couples, had a reservation, & were seated on the patio. It's lovely, & the weather was gorgeous, but after 30 minutes or so a really strong sewer smell started drifting through. We asked the manager what was going on & he said it was the winery next door. If that was... More

Press offers a special combination of relaxed elegance coupled with absolutely first rate service and food. The cote de boeuf was without doubt one of the finest steaks my wife and I have ever had; flavorful, tender, juicy, etc. We can't say enough about the salads, sides of mushrooms and the totally decadent chocolate souffle. Friendly staff from start to... More

Enjoyed on of the best dinners here - everything was on point including the food, service and atmosphere. Extensive wine list displayed on an IPad and impressive choices of steaks available. My only recommendation is that they could add a few more selections of vegetables, but in their defense, this is a steakhouse. People come for the meat and they... More

A very nice address in the Nappa Valley. Relaxed but elegant. A nice decor. Nothing overly fancy, but a beautiful modern interpretation of American rurality. A nice terrace in the back too. Service is fine. The menu is short, which is good. We had steak, so can't really comment on the cuisine. Steaks were outstanding. Tender, juicy, flavourfoul and perfectly... More

We were looking for that Napa experience--something outstanding like the wineries. Press did not disappoint. The wine selection was wonderful and the suggested wine was excellent especially for the price. The dinners were top notch and delicious. The service was attentive without hovering. I would love to return and probably will with any future Napa trips.

We went there to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday. There was 6 of us. Started out good, with awesome drinks at the bar while we waited for our table. Then once we were sat, went downhill quickly. Our waitress seems to have some nervous condition based on how she spoke rapidly and almost second guessing everything she says. Our friend... More

We had a big group celebrating birthdays and had a private dining area with Nom as our waiter. He was awesome. Got a quick kitchen tour as well as a tour of the 13,000 bottle wine cellar. It was the best meal of the week. We didn't want to leave. Thanks. I'll be back!

We were looking forward to our dinner here based on all the outstanding reviews. But disappointed by both the service and the food. I had a lamb dish however it seemed overcomplicated and the overly trendy in style and taste. My boyfriend enjoyed his salmon but it was nothing extraordinary. The restaurant itself was very pretty inside and perhaps on... More

Wonderful food and a fantastic wine list featuring the best Napa has to offer. The ambiance was delightful. The service was attentive but not overly so. Probably the best crab and lobster cake I've ever had - and I've had quite a few. The lamb loin was spectacular! Particularly when paired with a Dunn Vineyards Howell Mountain cab. I can't... More

My Wife, some friends and I dined here last weekend. Always a great time and consistently great food. Get here a little early and start with a pre-dinner drink at the bar! Wonderful, and they stock many of the hard to find spirits like 209 Gin (made in San Francisco). In fact Press carried all three styles of 209! Great... More
