As a lifelong foodie, I have to say that the meal we enjoyed at The Restaurant was so far superior to that of French Laundry. Whereas FL was all butter and cream, The Restaurant was plant based, light, fun, amazing, innovative, beautiful, tasty and overall a world class dining experience. Beyond any expectations we could have had

vegetarian tasting available, wonderful staff! Good wine selections, and got a tour of the kitchen to see the work being put into our meal.

To begin with, as we entered the restaurant, the hostess offered us a table that was right by the service area. Since it was a $500+ meal, I thought it would be okay to ask for a table with a bit less traffic, (there was one open right by a window) but from the shocked response we received, one would... More

I had the flatbread starter and risotto. Very little flavor and the menu lacked creativity. Save your $$ and head to another restaurant in St. Helena. You could eat twice for the price and get more creative dishes in this town. They seated an evidently loud and drunk couple in the table next to us even though the restaurant was... More

Nice ambiance . Delicious food ... but So pretentious . One dish was even served on pages of " A la Recherche du temps Perdu " ! Every plate comes with an elaborate and often convoluted explanation . Even the goat cheese requires a long description . It's goat cheese !!! If only the brilliant chef could think that "... More

I try to sit through a meal without playing on my cell phone. I really do. However, it was hard to not reach for it and send out an "OMG" text as the food began arriving for our recent dinner here at Meadowood. Beginning with the four rounds of amuse bouche that the kitchen sent out and continuing on through... More

Expensive, but worth the food, wine, and very pleasant service. The artisan cheese with lavender honey are not to be missed.

We booked a month ahead and had dinner here with family on Napa day trip. The service at this restaurant is truly remarkable. The attentiveness of the doorman to the waiters were amazing. The waiters were so well synchronized in setting up and removing plates that it was not unlike a performance with every degustation course. Previous reviews highlighted service,... More

I went to this wonderful restaurant for my birthday in late November. The whole experience was top shelf. The food was creative and delicious, the service was impeccable. I loved the birthday surprise at the end of the meal. The restaurant itself was gorgeous inside and at the end of our meal we took a tour of the kitchen which... More

My wife and I booked in advance for our a great experience whilst taking a day trip to napa from San Francisco. We were not disappointed. I must preface this review stating we had very high expectations going here as we've heard very good things. On parking our car we were greeted by two men immediately then again again at... More
