This was the best $1,000 dinner for two we've ever had (ok, it's also the only $1k dinner for two so far). Service was impeccable and friendly, 12 small courses were all fascinating-the favors popped, and the creativity was fun to behold. No menu presented, diners are surprised by each course and wine pairing. We joked about them incorporating the... More

We were able to get a late 9:30pm reservation and were in for a treat! Every dish was beautiful and fascinating. There must be a story behind each one! The ambiance of the restaurant is very calm although a bit on the dim side. Overall a very memorable meal.

Astonishingly creative and fun elements derived from local flora and vegetables resulted in a meal that will live long in the memory. Service is impeccable from greeting at the foot of the steps to a parting tour of the kitchen; sommelier demonstrated remarkable familiarity with wines both local and foreign. All in all, a culinary tour de force in relaxed... More

From the moment we sat down at our table, the entire team at the restaurant provided exceptional service. The sommelier spoke intelligently about each bottle we ordered and made fantastic recommendations for pairings. As other reviewers have noted, the portions are very small, but I lost count of the number of dishes served, and everyone in our party of four... More

Excellent experience with perhaps the best service experienced ever. We stayed at Meadowood and enjoyed The Restaurant the day before The French Laundry. The menu was customized and (spoiler) includes your names on it. If you ask the menus will be signed by the great Chef Kostow himself Great wine pairings from an excellent sommelier. Beautiful.

Keeping in mind that we have eaten at many Michelin 3 starred restaurants, Meadowood was a major disappointment. Although they started with 2 serious errors, neither of those is the reason for this negative review. Essentially, they did what they should but the lack of soul took all the joy out of the evening. The multitude of robotic staff made... More

The service at The Restaurant rivals that of Eleven Madison Park in NYC. You are greeted warmly out front, escorted in and made to feel like they genuinely care about you being there. The staff wants you to enjoy yourself. They went out of their way to make our anniversary dinner extra special and even included a tour of the... More

Loved the food, loved the wine, loved that nearly everyone wished us a happy 25th wedding anniversary. The menu was customized so I can't recommend specifics. I got the wine pairing and my glass was topped off twice which never happens. They even gave us tour of the kitchen. There's a restaurant down the street that's more famous and only... More
