Memorable

So I was torn between giving Meadowood three or four stars. Three stars is average according to tripadvisor, but this is absolutely not an average restaurant. I took my girlfriend, we had the standard tasting menu (not the chef's table) and the wine pairing, and it was one of the most expensive... read more

We ate at the chefs counter. The food was phenomenal. I would say more than half of the courses were truly memorable. The rest were great albeit small. (I was satisfied at the end.). The only constructive criticism that I have would be there was not a clear end to the main courses. I would definitely return to the chefs... More

This was definitely the highlight of our stay at Meadowood, surpassing our trip last year to the French Laundry in experience and matching in food. As a couple we were initially put off by the formality of the dining room: we were seated at a huge stone table that resembled more of a desk, with blotter-like place settings. But the... More

This restaurant is all it is cracked up to be. It truly lives up to the expectation. My wife Melissa and I celebrated our anniversary here on 8/20. The food was amazing - course after course. The wine list had me distracted for a solid 30min, and I finally selected a 95 Diamond Creek Volcanic Ridge that held up very... More

Exquisite dining experience where guests are treated to interesting non derivative somewhat exotic courses and fawning service. A bit pricey and the other guests there at the time we dined seemed a bit stuffy, but the servers were friendly, warm and fun without crossing boundaries.

We visited to celebrate our twentieth anniversary, never received the promised call described on the restaurant's website to personally tailor our menu and dining experience and while we waited an inexcusably long time for anyone to offer us something to drink we watched several members of the staff fawning over another diner and his partner - who sat down after... What can you say that hasn't already been said? Simply delightful! Perfect service, perfect food and wine pairing. An unforgettable dinner and a great tease for your senses! Definitely worth the three Michelin Stars! Will certainly come back when visiting Napa Valley!

My wife and I ate here for our anniversary in mid-August. Cue Pink Floyd's lyrics, which is the title of this post We've eaten here several times, starting before most persons had heard of superstar Chef Chris Kostow. But it's been two years since the last dining experience, and a lot has happened since then apparently. We arrived on time... More

There's been a lot said about this restaurant. We went just before the official launch of the chef's cookbook. The tour of the kitchen was an eye-opener. We're dined at many Michelin-rated restaurants but didn't quite know how much planning goes into making each meal memorable for guests. The food was interesting and the presentations inventive. Eaten off a book... More

My son and myself experienced de 20 tasting degustation inside the kitchen; of course, it was expensive but it was worth it. We shared the long table with a young couple.. The executive Chef came to give us a nice welcome and also the whole teem that was working inside the kitchen under his leadership. A waiter were assigned for... More
