The food was delicious and service was excellent as well. Definitely will go back here. It was nice that they could accommodate a group of 10 at the same table (unlike the other restaurants we went to in the area).

We were told on numerous occasion to try this place out and that it was a local favorite. I can't say the food or the service knocked our socks off. The food was good but not the greatness everyone kept saying.

Sometimes a little supper at the bar is fun. Even tho I went early, the Market bar was a happening scene. Get over there fast while we still have fresh heirloom tomatoes and ripe watermelon. They combine those with mizuna, mozzarella, onions and toasted almonds - dressed with the perfect champagne vinaigrette into my favorite salad. Then enjoy our nearness... More

If Market was somewhere else, I would probably be giving it a higher score. Relative to other choices in St. Helena, Yountville and Napa, etc., I am being a bit more critical when I say average. It is better than average; good, in fact. This was my second trip for dinner. At the time of my first visit, years ago,... More

Service was great, and the restaurant has a nice ambience. The crowd is generally on the older (over 60) side. We were not starving or particularly adventurous with our food orders. The soup was delicious. The burger had a strange and somewhat unpleasant flavor to it. The Mac and Cheese, which we heard so much about, wasn't very good either.... More

Lobster bisque was more like bean soup with hot spices; no resemblance to lobster. Steak jalapeno was thin, very thin slices of what resembled roast versus steak...joke given the menu description. The lamb sandwich had a good amount of meat but no flavor. Overall, a waste of money. Too bad as we are local but could not go again or... More

Was planning to go to Greystone at CIA for lunch, but ended up going to Market. Don't get me wrong, it is not bad...at all, but it is not great either. First, the service needs some help, the waiters weren't well informed about wine, food, etc. Second, the food, while not bad, lacked "wow." We had lobster spring rolls, steak,... More

The Market was pretty quiet yesterday at noon. Still took some time for service to appear. My husband got breakfast of corned beef hash, got plenty of food and said it was good not great, I got lobster rolls, 6 bites of food. A small salad came with it....4 bites. I was still hungry..... Very hungry. I feel for the... More
