Among the hype in Napa Valley is a beautiful lil gem that hasn't lost its allure with the locals. Cindy knows the way into the hearts of her friends...with continued pallet pleasing, mouthwatering, and WOW dishes that pair well with wine and their assortment of handcrafted cocktails. The bartenders and servers are all savvy pro's and know their clientele well.... More

Stopped here for lunch on the way back from a mud bath and massage in Calistoga. What a great choice. We have eaten at Mustards and wanted to try Cindy's other restaurant. The service was great. If you can, ask for Sean. He not only knows the menu and drinks, but is also very friendly and entertaining. I had the... More

We made our reservation before we traveled to Napa, which I would recommend. We decided on 7:30 not knowing what our itinerary would be like for the day. As it turned out, we were ready for dinner earlier. We called to get in sooner but they were full. When we arrived later, our table was ready and the restaurant was... More

We came here for lunch at recommendation of our server at Markhams vineyard. The service was great and I absolutely loved the duck sandwich. My husband enjoyed the pork chop special but agreed the duck sandwich was the best.

Cindy's is off the main drag a bit but well worth the small effort to find it. The setting is terrific with the feeling one is sitting in the parlor of a stately, old mansion. We had lunch and were seated quickly without having a reservation. The menu is very good with interesting and unusual choices. The best meal at... More

This restaurant was recommended to us from a winery tour and it was awesome. Just off the Main Street so while very busy, it is less hectic to eat here. We were able to eat outside in a small courtyard and I had the salmon special but they had some unique food on the menu. My daughter had a terrific... More

We were in Napa the weekend of the big earthquake (August 2014). Our reservations for our last night were cancelled because our restaurant was damaged. We scrambled to find a substitute that was open and taking reservations. We were incredibly fortunate to find Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen. If we had known about it, it would have been our first choice all... More

This pleasant restaurant always provides quality food and service in a market of overhyped restaurants. They keep it simple and with a pleasant atmosphere and a good value for the money compare to the competition. The only snag on our last visit was a unprofessional waiter who was more interested in talking about himself instead of the food.

Our first stop when we visit Wine Country is Mustard's and we always have a wonderful dinner there. On our past visit, we got more than we had bargained for when we learned about Cindy's Back Street Kitchen! We had two fine dinners there during our visit. The room is casual and cheerful and the patio was a fabulous way... More

This is a light and spacious restaurant that has very tasty food, great wine list, good service with in and outdoor seating. It has an upstairs and downstairs that holds plenty of people. Service is good, a wide variety of soups, salads, meat, fish and tasty local cuisine. reservations are helpful, it can get busy and brunch is very busy.
