Another GREAT meal here!

Cindy's Backstreet always delivers. Whether you sit at the bar and have her amazing Duck Burger, or dine at a table with Oysters Bingo, Mushroom Pot Pie and Campfire Pie for dessert, you're always in for a great meal. Yes, backstreet [Railroad Ave] parallels the tracks...sister to Mustard's...quiet friendly, perceived locals predominate...no corkage this evening...atraditional fare, although they use the word 'latin' frequently, using local ingredients in an eclectic style...I had a unique version of fried chicken and my wife had the wild mushroom pot pie, practically licking the bowl clean...that good

I love this restaurant. Great food, great ambiance and great service. Be sure and try the meatloaf! I don't like polenta yet I love their polenta fries.

In short, the best restaurant experience we had during our CA visit. Food and drink were excellent. I had the rabbit tostada and my fiance had the wild mushroom pot pie. Both entrees were top notch. The chef also sent out a free squash soup, which was delicious as well. We ended with a 'Campfire Pie' for dessert, incredible. Our... More

It's not right to go into a nice restaurant and order a grilled cheese sandwich. Nor is it ok to get a root beer float with your entree in said nice restaurant. (Evidenced by the fact that the server asked me twice if that was really what I wanted!) But that's what I did and I so don't regret it.... More

We loved the homey atmosphere of this place, along with the very pleasant service. For appetizers, we ordered rich and luscious Oysters Bingo, and the Padron Peppers which we don’t understand (so tiny, almost annoying to pick up, and not that flavorful but for the aioli they’re served with). For entrees, the Rabbit Tostada was a big hit – nicely... More

We consider ourselves to be foodies and Cindy's exceeded our expectations!! We read about it and new Cindy had cooked at the Mustard Grill so thought we would probably be happy. It is a block off Main St. and well worth a visit.

I really wanted to try this restaurant based on the very good reviews, and we were not let down! We were seated in the upstairs dining room early on a Saturday night, which never quite filled up. (The lower dining room and bar area were packed however upon our exit). There is outdoor dining in the entry courtyard, which looked... More
