Excellent Dinner

This was our last dinner in Napa and we certainly saved the best for last! We were told by someone on a winery visit to make sure we ordered the Porterhouse for 2. And we're glad we did. The food was very good; well prepared and presented. We did not have a bottle of wine which is a bit odd for most but we did have a cocktail and a glass of wine with our meal. They have a nice selection of wine by the glass. We also had desert and it was the right portion. Worth the... More

This was only one of two dinners we had while in Napa Valley for a short visit. I did hours of research leading up to the decision about where to dine. I'm very glad I chose Tra Vigne. It was beautiful, service was excellent, food was amazing. The wine is very expensive, in my opinion. However, on Monday nights (when... More

It was easy to check the box "Is this one of the best meals you've ever had in a restaurant?" We dined here last night at the recommendation of our driver and just knew pulling up to the restaurant it was special. If you didn't know you would think your in Italy, really. The bar dining room is massive but... More

This is a really good Italian restaurant with great appeal and service. Their warm, fresh mozzarella on grilled bread was the best I have ever had. The pasta was also very good and the desserts were excellent, especially the strawberry shortcake and tiramisu. Overall, one of the best restaurants in Napa.

We decided to stop for lunch while visiting some wineries in the Napa Valley and shared a small pizza and some salads. The food was well prepared and the service was also very good. The grounds for outside seating are very nice also.

What more can an Italian restaurant need but a mederanean exterior and good food and wine. Starters and main varied and service good. Desert choice is a little weaker.

Gorgeous romantic setting! There are places to eat indoors and out and both are equally as nice. We sat at the best table. We were inside with the balcony next to us. The windows were open, giving us a beautiful view of the outside eating area. The staff was friendly and helped us with our wine pairings. Food was delicious!

Although the food was very good and worth the price, the service was less so. Our waiter was extremely snobby and unprofessional making us feel un-welcomed.

My wife and I had lunch here between vineyard appointments. It is in a great location and the restaurant itself is very comfortable and stylishly decorated. We ate outside which was very nice. Dennis M as ou server and he was excellent, a real professional who was very helpful with the menu. We had the mozzarella sticks recommended by Dennis... More
