I selected this restaurant based on other reviews at Trip Advisor. We were a group of 4 people visiting Napa from Colorado. We were not disappointed, and agreed that this was a delightful restaurant and one of the best places we dined at during our trip. I like that Tra Vigne promotes wineries that are trying to preserve certain grape... More

This is our fourth dinner at Tra Vigne. We return because it is excellent Italian based cuisine and exceptional service. The seating in the large booths accommodate 6 people comfortably and the restaurant is roomy and warm. Very nice wine list for wines by the glass and bottle. The staff is very helpful with paring wine to the meal. What... More

While visiting Napa, a friend told us about this restaurant. We had dinner reservations for 6 on a Saturday night. They were quite busy and got us in quickly. We enjoyed a bottle of wine and an appetizer of their bruschetta which was wonderful. The service was outstanding as was all of the entrees that we ordered: the ravioli, bacon... More

My husband and I ate here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were lucky enough to get a lovely table for two outside in the back of the restaurant. The food was outstanding. We had their special mozzarella that is prepared when you order it. It comes to the table still warm and is served with toasted bread. You... More

Stopped here today while passing through St. Helena, chose this restaurant because of the great TA reviews. Was not disappointed. Each item was lovely. The calamari and shrimp frito was wonderful. I had the asparagus ravioli and my wife the duck with risotto. Everything was very fresh and prepared perfectly. The only issue we had was a fly that pestered... More

The restaurants signature dish, fresh mozzarella, pulled over toast, topped with in-season heirloom tomatoes, was a delicious way to start our meal. Continued the experience with fritto misto...yum! And finished with short ribs, which had been gently simmered for 27 hours. Only improvement I would have liked was to be seated more of of the line of traffic. Servers were... More

Ate outside on the upper patio with a table of 10. We brought our own wine. The service was top notch! Many different types of pastas to choose from. For my dinner, I had the Rigatoni Alla Carbonara with guanciale bacon, onions, organic eggs, cracked pepper and parmesan- it was fantastic! Dessert - tiramasu was enough for 4 people! Price... More

Started with the mozzarella "al minuto" prepared tableside - not to be missed, it was everything it was promised to be and more - very memorable. The Sage Infused Pappardelle with rabbit ragu was also excellent - very rich, but the portion was perfectly sized. The service was warm and friendly and the patio a really lovely and relaxing setting... More

I shared a limousine with my family to celebrate my birthday last February. I have eaten here a few times, and that is why I was so disappointed. The service was terrible. I guess because we were a large party, and their tip was included they really didn't care. The food was OK. What really was disappointing was our calamari... More
