We love Tra Vigne! Everytime we fly to Napa Valley, we must eat at Tra Vigne for dinner! Make your reservations early! They have indoor and a beautiful piazza for seating. The staff is very attentive. The Sommelier is a wonderful resource for food and wine pairing. We now have favorite wines because of his suggestion! The food is wonderful.... More

OK. Everyone is right - get the fresh mozzarella. It really is that good! The cheese is not terribly flavorful, but it is warm and soft and chewy all at the same time. Greeted warmly at the door, I arrived at least an hour ahead of my Open Table reservation, and Tra Vigne's crew took that in stride. Outside there is a rather large area with tables and a portion of it during my early April visit was protected by one of those plastic enclosures. I really enjoy restaurants that take advantage of... As an east-coaster I felt quintessentially Californian here after a day in wine country. First, we brought in some wine we'd purchased at our last stop and the waiter was enthusiastic about our choice. His service was excellent and all food entrees enjoyed. If you do not order the hand made, fresh mozzarella appetizer you've made a mistake. You must... More

Outstanding food, excellent and friendly service, gorgeous setting. While the inside of the restaurant is beautiful, try to get seated outdoors for the real Tuscan experience. Very romantic, this was one of the highlights of our vacation.

We have eaten here several times over the past few years and it has always delivered. This time we were with a party of 14 after CIA was not interested in accommodating us for lunch. The staff seemed happy to see us. Our server was pleasant, efficient and helpful. We pretty well went through the lunch menu and everything was... More
