If this restaurant were anywhere else in the country, it'd be great. But compared to the other options in Napa Valley, it was only a B+. The menu isn't very bold - it's all standard CA cuisine that you can find pretty much anywhere. But it was good. And their fresh buffalo Mozzarella was amazing. more

We ate here on our honeymoon. We were staying at the inn next door so we walked over. The service was great. We asked the server for reccommendations. He recc. the local favorites, the braised short rib and the rabbit pasta dish(sorry I can't remember the name). The short rib fell right of the bone, it was perfectly cooked, however... more

Simply put...I love this place for dinner. However, I just went recently for an amazing brunch. ORDER THE SLOW ROASTED RIB HASH WITH POACHED EGGS!!! Oh, don't forget to start with the fresh, hot mini donut appetizer and wonderful coffee. Then move on to bubbly or a spicy bloody mary. Ambience is cool, romantic, cozy, everything you want in the... more

Even though it looks like an expensive lunch choice from the outside, the lunch was excellent with good portions and very reasonable price. I had the panino which must have barely fit on the press -- very large. Of course, it was quite good too. Architecture and huge bar are beautiful, so good ambience. And the service at lunch was... more

My husband and I celebrated our 5th anniversary in Napa Valley, and we were told by numerous people that Tra Vigne is a place we must stop at. The food was incredible, and our pastas were house-made and cooked to perfection. Even though the service there was a little snooty, I did not care, because we were there for the... more

Tra Vigne came highly recommended by many people and we were not disappointed. The food was awesome! We had the fig and arugula pizza as an appetizer. Great! It was so big, that I could have just eaten that. It would be a great choice for lunch. For my meal, I ordered the Maltagliati Verde which is a slow cooked... more

I had read a bit about Tra Vigne and was anticipating a really nice dinner. Frankly it was not our first choice of restaurants but I waited too long to make a reservation and our first two choices could not accommodate us for the times we wanted. Tra Vigne was just OK -- nothing special at all. For what we... more

I should have known I wasn't going to like it when I waited 45 minutes to be seated, when I had made my reservations almost 2 months in advance. I ordered the venison special. It was raw. I love venison, and my family and I cook it often and have quite a bit in our freezer. So, I am familiar... more
