We've enjoyed Tra Vigne for it's ambience over many years- lovely outdoor patio. Food is good but pricey for overall quality- Risotto balls and short ribs were disappointing. However, the pasta and fish were superb.

Wonderful food, prepared perfectly and served as expected. The calamari and rock shrimp are wonderful. This was our second visit and both times food was lovely. This time I made an advanced reservation and we were able to sit outside where it is much quieter. It can be noisy inside. Wine is a little pricey

We stopped there for lunch while touring the wine country and had the most delightful experience dining on the ope air patio. The food was expertly prepared and most delicious. Do not miss the Mozzarella "al minuto."

Tra Vigne is one of our favorite restaurants and we stopped in the other day to enjoy a nice lunch. We started with the best appetizer we have ever tasted (Fresh Mozzarella with cristini). It's unbelievable. Then we were recommended to try their Pizza Giovanni. After the fresh mozzarella, I was pretty full but couldn't leave the pizza along. We... More

Service was poor. Waiter did not know 1-2 bottle of wines were available on menu. Waiter inexperienced in serving the wine. Red wines stored at 65 degrees. First bottle came from behind the bar and was hot. Second bottle came from 65 degree cellar which is too warm for a good wine. Changed to a white wine. Had to wait... More

A lovely tree shaded courtyard fronting the restaurant was perfect for our group lunch. Excellent service and legitimate suggestions from the lead waiter meant everyone's choice was perfect. Team serving ensured all diners got their food at the same time. The host answered all our questions regarding the history of the restaurant and area and we were treated to a... More

Tra Vigne is one of the better restaurants in St Helena and Napa Valley. We enjoyed the dinner with friends and the atmosphere of the restaurant was just what we were looking for in a mid evening dinner. We have dined there on more than one occasion, and each time the evening and dinner was great.

The restaurant in Saint Helena has the look and field of a country restaurant in Tuscany, the wood oven prepares terrific pizzas, the mozarella al instante bruscheta is delicious, service is prompt and amiable, wines are plenty of options.

My wife made reservations for a birthday party and requested a corner table. We arrived on time and got a enter table. Not the biggest problem in the world. But it would have been nice to get a corner table. The mozerella and calamari appetizers were delicious. My wife ordered the chickens entree while I ordered the steak one My... More
