Title pretty much sums it up. Food was a bit pricier than I thought it needed to be, but it was very good. The waitress was wonderful: friendly, outgoing, beyond patient. more

I have heard about the Martini House for years and finally ate there this past summer. We had made the rounds... Ad Hoc, Greystone, Bouchon.... and the Martini House does not even rank. The sauces were heavy and reminded me of tv dinners or airplane food. The halibut was rubbery. I would not waste your time and money here. There... more

In an area where great restaurants are the norm, the Martini House stands out. The food is sensational, the service top notch, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Known for their mushroom soup, it may be the best I've ever had. Everything served to our party was exceptional. This is a don't miss restaurant! more

If you don't mind splurging, this place is worth going to. We ate outside - the atmosphere is just as good inside, too. Food was delicious from beginning to end and so were the martini's. more

My wife and I visited Martini House on Friday September 4th for our anniversary. We were very excited about dinner and reserved a patio table months in advance. The atmosphere was great. There was a street festival going on which only added to the evening. Unfortunetely, that was were the good part of the review ended. Dinner was aweful. The... more

I was very hesitant about dining at the Martini House because the reviews seemed so varied. I'm so glad we tried it! We ate out on the patio and found the service to be impeccable. I would highly recommend eating out on the patio; the courtyard was just beautiful. I tried the mushroom soup and found it to be delicious... more

We had high hopes for this restaurant recommended by some locals. I guess they forgot to tell us if we weren't local, we wouldn't get good service. The food was good, but with the service so terrible, it wasn't worth the price. I'm not sure if waiting 20-25 minutes for our first round of drinks is considered a "dining experience".... more

I need to start with the statement that this is one of our "must stop" restaurants in Napa Valley. Yes, it's pricey. But the food is divine and it's worth the money. We've eaten lunch (prefer the outdoor seating then) and dinner (you can pick either), and have never been dissapointed. The drink menu is huge and great fun, and... more

Six of us went to Martini House on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. When we got to the restaurant, the host wasn't the "hostess with the moretess." We had to wait even though our table was set. Our waiter was very pleasant. He told us about the history of the restaurant and the chef. We sat... more
