Few years ago we had dinner in the restaurant and it was too formal for us so we decided this time to try the bar. we loved it !!! Food is amazing. every dish was different & interesting. very strong mediterranean influence that was mixed with Japanese touch. The Cod in Miso sauce was one of the best dishes I... More

Food was absolutely amazing, but the portions were so big that by the end we couldn't enjoy it anymore. Don't order more than 4 portions unless you are a professional eater. The atmosphere is quite nice and romantic.

Bar Terra is the informal dining area associated with Terra, which is a very fine dining space. Bar Terra is housed within rough stone walls, giving it the feeling of a cave. The menu is influenced by Japanese ingredients and sensibilities, but is really international. The dishes are often lovely and delicious, with an occasional slightly quirky element which is... More

I enjoyed the tasting menu. To the dishes were a little salty. As a single diner on this trip, it would be nice to have some higher and wine available for those dining alone for food pairing. The bar area did seem a little crowded and noisy, but I dine on the quieter side. I was surprised to see a... More

My husband and I have enjoyed dining at Terra Restaurant in the past so on an unplanned trip to St. Helena, we decided to take a chance and see if they could accommodate us. As we feared the restaurant was booked however we were easily seated in what is now considered Terra Bar. We sat in a bright, front window... More

Our first full day in Napa, this was a great finish. A good menu with great wine selections. Good service, small restaurant divided in two parts. One side had a bar and dining and was a bit noisy, the other is just dining and quieter.

A lovely dining room with an aged Italian vibe that delivers sophisticated fusion food on a customer chosen tasting menu ..... yes please! I checked the menu on their website before our visit and to their credit everything was as per the list. We went with the 5 dish choice and the crudo, crazy water & black cod were the... More

Great service, flavorful food, just a bit too exotic!? Small plates were full of flavor, but 1 fish dish came out all bones. Not edible. Another was over cooked and rubbery. Good experience, but once was enough

The only reason Terra restaurant is getting 3 stars is due to the fact that they are bit overrated. The food was definitely above average, but did not blow me away (as I would expect a 1 Michelin star restaurant to do). The dishes were typical and not one plate had me raving. Dessert was horribly below average. That being... More

I have been to terra about half a dozen times, possibly more. One of the best things to have is the lobster tortelloni. They are big slightly chewy dough rolls filled with lobster in wonderful, mild, slightly tomato-y broth. It is a signature dish and I was so glad to see them in the tasting menu! They have really good... More
