This is our favorite restaurant for special occasions. Ranks with any fine restaurant in the world. All the dishes are prepared with great detail. Just outstanding.
Things did not get off to a good start. The rain and dark signage made it hard to find the restaurant despite Google Maps. And when we arrived 10 minutes late, the hostess had to check to see if we could still order dinner. But after experiencing the 6 course menu ( you can order a 3, 5, and 7... More
A lovely dining experience. The service was polished and the lobster ravioli was outstanding as was the Japanese custard. Great tastes. A memorable night.
Fantastic, knowledgeable, attentive service. Food was different from other dining experiences in the area which was a nice. A splurge for our budget, but glad we experienced this great little restaurant. Definitely a place to go to take some small food risks as you won't be disappointed when trying something a little different than the typical safe steak or fish... More
This was my second time here but I hadn't been back with the new menu format where you can choose anything you want. I was very pleasantly surprised. We all enjoyed all of our dishes - some were better than others. We only did 4 savory courses and ate way too much bread or we would have made it to... More
I have eaten here on 3 occasions. It is a beautiful interior with brick lined walls. The food is fabulous & the wine list is extensive. I always try to get a reservation here, but you need to book ahead because it fills up fast and is hard to get into.
There are couple of good Restaurants in Napa Valley - Torc in Napa, French Laundry in Yountville, the Auberge in Rutherford, Meadowood - to name a few we did visit over the past years / days. First time in Terra - although it is around for many years. And we do know Ame in SFO - same owners. You choose... More
Each dish was delicious but we found 5 courses a little too much. There was not one bite of food that I did not savour. Our server was fantastic too. We will definitely return.
This restaurant is a gem. The chef has a menu arranged from appetizer to dessert and "four course" means that you can choose any four, four appetizers, four desserts, etc. Delightful. And the food and service can not be beat. We had very good meals at Market and Tra Vigne but this was the world beater.
