I had a reservation at Terra after having it recommended to me by the Inn at which we were staying. My daughter and I arrived 10 minutes early to enjoy our trip...it was the beginning of the dining hour and the door was locked and staff was walking around inside doing last minute table set-up. overrated; no creativity; no surprises more

We haven't sampled the other Michelin-star restaurants in the Napa Valley, so we don't have much for comparison, but we wholeheartedly loved our experience at Terra: The building is unassuming from the outside, and street parking is easy to find. Inside, Terra is beautiful, with old stone walls, wood-beamed ceilings, terra cotta floor tiles and a few abstract art prints.... more
