Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch's restaurant showcases the seasonal, ingredient-driven American farmhouse cooking of executive chef Stephen Barber. LMR Grass-fed Beef CheeseburgerHoused in a former nursery barn, our 110-seat restaurant revolves around a central open kitchen with booth and central seating, community dining, and a full bar. We feature an authentic farm-to-table menu. The ingredients are foraged from local sources and feature Long Meadow Ranch's all natural grass-fed beef and lamb, organic and sustainably produced eggs, fruits, vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, and honey. Possessing a substantial background in Southern cooking styles, Stephen emphasizes a wood-burning element for select dishes. Stephen's kitchen is also outfitted with a plancha, a cast-iron grill ideal for searing Long Meadow Ranch's healthy, tender, and flavorful grass-fed beef and lamb. Community tables at Farmstead restaurantFarmstead at Long Meadow Ranch's restaurant wine program features Long Meadow Ranch Winery's elegant and balanced wines, as well as other domestic and international wines selected by Chris Hall to complement the restaurant's American farmhouse cooking. LMR and Farmstead wines are also available to purchase to-go at the Logan-Ives House cellar door. There is no corkage fee at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch. Instead, a $5-per-bottle fee is collected as a donation to a featured local community-building not-for-profit organization each month. We call this program Corkage for Community. Outdoor bar at Farmstead restaurantOutdoors in season, guests can enjoy a meal among the espalier apple trees, drinks at the bar, or relax with friends and family by the cozy wood-fired authentic forge. Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM we offer a Growers' Happy Hour with specially-priced cocktails, beer, and wine and a special bar menu. We also offer Weekly Traditions featuring special friendly, casual menus on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nghts and on Sunday for brunch. Live entertainment on Fridays. Our favorite in St. Helena, hands down

The comfortable, warm and casual environment just makes you feel at home. Service is very good - never stuffy, always on point, friendly and knowledgeable. By the other reviews, all it seems to mention is how great the hamburgers are? We were going up to Napa Valley for my B-day and my husband was let's eat here. I'm reading Hamburgers?? Really...it's my B-day...I really not eating burger for my b-day, but I looked over their menu on their website and viewed much more than burgers.... More

This restaurant has great ambiance with very attentive service. I appreciate the thoughtfulness they put into their product and building. I felt like all their food was "farm fresh" and good for us. My husband had the arugula salad while I had the barbecue pork sandwich. Our waiter was caring and delightful...it was a nice afternoon.

Having eaten here numerous times over the past few years and having been consistently and continuously impressed, I am a little sheepish that I am only just getting around to writing a review. Farmstead is becoming I think, another Napa institution as time goes by, which is not always easy to do given the standards set in the valley and... More

The food was great here - certainly know how to cook a burger. My only qualm was the arugula on the burger. It really overpowered the taste of the meat. The atmoshere and overall feel of the restaurant were fantastic. This is definitely a great place to grab a bite to eat in the St. Helena area, especially after wine... More

The concierge at our inn recommended this restaurant and told us the hamburgers were great. Not only was it great, I didn't even need to put ketchup on it! The chili was delish as well. They raise their own beef.

If you're looking for fresh, tasty local grown food, then this is the place for you! All menu items are grown locally on their ranch, beef owned by the ranch raised in the grassy meadows of Ferndale. Everything our party ate was delicious. My sister in law happens to love steak tartare and is particular to preparation (she happens to... More
