Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch's restaurant showcases the seasonal, ingredient-driven American farmhouse cooking of executive chef Stephen Barber. LMR Grass-fed Beef CheeseburgerHoused in a former nursery barn, our 110-seat restaurant revolves around a central open kitchen with booth and central seating, community dining, and a full bar. We feature an authentic farm-to-table menu. The ingredients are foraged from local sources and feature Long Meadow Ranch's all natural grass-fed beef and lamb, organic and sustainably produced eggs, fruits, vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, and honey. Possessing a substantial background in Southern cooking styles, Stephen emphasizes a wood-burning element for select dishes. Stephen's kitchen is also outfitted with a plancha, a cast-iron grill ideal for searing Long Meadow Ranch's healthy, tender, and flavorful grass-fed beef and lamb. Community tables at Farmstead restaurantFarmstead at Long Meadow Ranch's restaurant wine program features Long Meadow Ranch Winery's elegant and balanced wines, as well as other domestic and international wines selected by Chris Hall to complement the restaurant's American farmhouse cooking. LMR and Farmstead wines are also available to purchase to-go at the Logan-Ives House cellar door. There is no corkage fee at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch. Instead, a $5-per-bottle fee is collected as a donation to a featured local community-building not-for-profit organization each month. We call this program Corkage for Community. Outdoor bar at Farmstead restaurantOutdoors in season, guests can enjoy a meal among the espalier apple trees, drinks at the bar, or relax with friends and family by the cozy wood-fired authentic forge. Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM we offer a Growers' Happy Hour with specially-priced cocktails, beer, and wine and a special bar menu. We also offer Weekly Traditions featuring special friendly, casual menus on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nghts and on Sunday for brunch. Live entertainment on Fridays. If you find yourself in Napa on Rt 29 just south of St Helena and you happen to be hungry pull over and have a great brunch at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch. Its *very* popular, and for good reason (so reservations may be recommended) we waited for an outside table on the patio; the service... read more

My husband and I ate here during our stay in St. Helena. We couldn't get a table so we ate at the bar. We had the oysters and the pulled pork nachos for appetizers. They were very good- but we were less pleased with our entrees. It is very crowded and appears to be the "trendy" place to eat in... More

We had a group of nine and often this is a restaurant challenge. Famstead seated us at a square table and served a several course family style meal-chef's choice. We had salad, burata mozzarella, rolls, meatballs, cheese grits, ribs chicken, broccolini, and chocolate mousse. This menu list doesn't begin to describe the deliciousness. Everyone loved these dishes that were seasoned... More

In Napa Valley one outstanding farm to table concept is Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch where wine comes from their own vineyard and the ingredients for items on their menu grow in their garden directly next to the restaurant or come from the cows, hens or cattle on their farm. Who thought that Tempura Beans would taste this good!

This restaurant looked new to us, with a trendy feel. Nice tables with umbrellas outside, but we ate inside. Dark wood tables, flowers in milk bottles. My companion had spare ribs that he said were some of the best he ever had ($31). I had asparagus risotto, also very good($20) The cheddar biscuits with honey butter were absolutely delicious! The... This is a hidden jewel in an otherwise overcrowded Napa Valley area. Greta food, service, simple but elegant atmosphere. Very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. We found it by accident and shall visit again when in CA.

I just returned from a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The wines produced by LMR and serve at this restaurant are truly terrible - and totally marked up at the restaurant. We ordered two glasses of wine which totaled nearly $30 that was undrinkably bad. The grounds of this place are beautiful and the food was good - but... More

The drinks on the bar menu were amazing. We tried 6 of them...but the ginger julep was something special. The food was fantastic as well. I will hopefully make it back there one day.
