Dave & Rose have been satisfying Sacramento palettes and tummies since their days at The Bun Stop across from UCD Med. Ctr. Now with Nopalitos they have become a weekday mainstay for East Sac folk, and others who venture over. Never a disappointment.

I used to go to Nopalitos often, but just recently returned for the first time in years. They still have good, fresh ingredients in all their selections. And it's all good! Be sure and get something with the sliced nopalitos (cactus). Very tender and flavorful compared to other places. A wonderful little neighborhood restaurant.

Open for breakfast and lunch only during the week, Nopalitos is great value, fresh ingredients, no salt added and not greasy = excellent Mexican. My favorite is the carnitas burrito, a full meal. Great food in a very small restaurant. No credit cards. Cash or check only. Off in a neighborhood not easy access from highway but good food worth the diversion.

Wish they had more hours and were open on the weekend. If you can stop by on Mon-Friday for breakfast or lunch; the meals are fresh and delicious. Service was fast and friendly.

We can't say enough good about this place. Just a few blocks from our house, we stop in for breakfast, or lunch, or take out for our daughter's school lunch. The flavors are wonderful, the portions ample, the price is right. Rose will take care of you right!
