Tiny portions. Go elsewhere.

My husband and 4 yr old stopped for a quick bite. My dtr got the Kids buttered pasta and ate it before I even got the dressing on my salad. Then told me she was still hungry. I had the BLT salad, which was tasty, but small and less than filling. Hubby had the Buttermilk Chix sandwich. He didnt... read more

I had not been to Roxy's in quite a few years - and that was a mistake! I had lunch with four friends and we were able to sample quite a few dishes. My dish, the Stuffed Spaghetti Squash, was innovative, hearty and healthy. A full half of a roasted squash arrived, stuffed with mozzarella, faro, apples, pomegranates and toasted... More

visited on a friday night and arrived before our reservation and it was packed so we waited in the outside seating area which was a little chilly. Service was outstanding and they moved us inside quickly. Not sure what theme the restaurant was going for - maybe modern cowboy? bench was covered in cowhide and the art was cowboy themed.... More

Stopped in here for lunch with MIL during a recent visit. The exterior does not belie what is inside at all. I wouldn't describe it as eclectic, although it kind of is; it’s not “western”, although the bench seating is covered in cowhide, the chairs are leather, the modern artwork is western-horse-cowboy/girl themed and the bar is reminiscent of what... Roxy is an excellent neighborhood gem of a restaurant. It has been a favorite of ours since its opening. Tonight we came in for a 7:00 pm reservation, not knowing in advance that tonight is Homecoming Dance for most of our local high-schoolers, a seeming majority of whom were having dinner at Roxy (smart choice, kids). There was a moment... More

Tucked back off the street, we just happened upon the roxy! But it was a great experience!! The scallop special was amazing! The ancho chili brownie with Mexican chocolate gelato was just as amazing! The people were friendly and efficient. They might want to change out those cowhide seat backs, tho. Looking a little worn! I would definitely go back... More

As a group of 8, we arrived about 10:30 am for brunch and were surprised at the uniqueness and variety of dishes offered. Several ordered a drink with a bacon strip in it and a string bean across the top and absolutely loved it. the 'special' was amazing and the biscuits and gravy made our morning. Dogs allowed in the... More

I love eating breakfast here on the weekends. They have a twist on tradition breakfast that is very unique. Great coffee and expresso. You can even get a burger for breakfast.

I met a friend and her cute dog at Roxy's for breakfast. Nice outdoor seating with interesting choices of breakfast items. I ordered the bacon omelette. A perfectly cooked omelette came with toast and what is called a potato cake and a small serving of applesauce. The eggs and toast was great. Not a fan of the potato cake- it... More

The seating plan is open so there may not be much privacy in the main dining area is you are seated for two and can't get a booth. The food is wonderful, lot's of smoked meat done to perfection and the mac and cheese is the best. When in Sacramento, you need to try this place.
