yummy pumpkin bread pudding!

This is a hip kind of place with tasty food and a good atmosphere. Service was great. We had a vegetarian who couldn't find anything she liked and they made her a big sandwich of roasted vegetables. She was very pleased. The pumpkin bread pudding was awesome!

We found this restaurant on Urban Spoon from the reviews but we were skeptical from the name. DO NOT let the name fool you because this place is SO cool! The ambiance alone is worth a visit, even if only for a drink. Very eclectic and hip for Sacramento and right by the capital and DT. The food and drinks... More

I was early for lunch with a colleague so I'd planned to just sit and work until her arrival. The hostess greeted me with a warm smile and checked for the reservation. Although she found none, she told me she was glad I was there to have lunch and seated me in a nice booth near a window. My waitress... More

While at the convention center we decided to find a place to grab a bite and just picked Cafeteria randomly and we were pleasantly surprised! The French onion soup was fantastic, one of the best we have tried, the salad was fresh and the dressing perfectly light, but the best item was the sandwich we shared, the thinly sliced prime... Went there during restaurant week. My wife had the set menu with the sirloin stake and even though the meat was a little tough the taste was very good and the salad and dessert were better than average. I had the skirt stake which was very good and cooked to order. The prices for both the food and the drinks... More

This is no "cafeteria"! For weekend breakfast, we were greeted, seated and served immediately. The food was up less than 5 minutes after we ordered. And it was good, nice sized portions, tasty, well prepared. The decor is hip industrial, very well done. Definitely a plus for downtown Sacramento.

We were attending the production of 'Dirty Dancing' and dropped in at this restaurant with no reservation. They accommodated us as long as we finished dining before people who had reserved for the evening arrived. It worked out great and the food was good.

Loved the atmosphere there. Sort of industrial, hipster type style. Nice bar area too. Took advantage of DineSacramento (3 entrees for $31). Had the Thai Curry Butternut Squash Soup, Grilled Bistro Beef Filet with wild mushroom ragu and cabernet reduction over creamy potatoes, and Pumpkin Spice Bread Pudding with vanilla ice cream. All were delicious! I'll be back!

This is definitely not your standard cafeteria food! This is a regular restaurant, spacious, modern, large comfy bar area, and the food is very good and not too pricey. We went on a Sunday night, were seated right away, and had prompt service. I had the skirt steak, very tender with a nice sauce, and my husband had the pork... More

Took wife and son out to a casual dinner to Cafeteria 15L. My son's first visit to this restaurant as he now lives in San Diego. He was impressed with the decor and ambience. We started with drinks, green tea for wife; Pepsi for son; and my usual Keetle One on the rocks with a twist. For an appetizer we... More
