Courteous, excellent help. Creative, beautiful food.

My group of luncheon theater goers very much enjoys this place (aside from the noise--which is universal at most places these days). The drinks are good sized, properly prepared, and interesting. The food is different each time, creatively served and decent proportions. One additional plus: if... read more

If you're hungry for "American comfort food," you can find it here. I had a hard time choosing but eventually the meatloaf won out over the mac and cheese and the short ribs. It wasn't the best meatloaf I ever had and the mashed potatoes could've been a bit thicker, but I didn't go away hungry.

Interesting restaurant concept except no cafeteria on site? The food was acceptable. Our party was somewhat confused about the turkey club sandwich. It was not a typical club sandwich, only two pieces of bread, no tomato and the turkey was plain and without any flavor (deli pressed meat -not fresh turkey breast). I may give them another try when I... More

Good restaurant that turns into a bar and dance spot in the evening. Trendy atmosphere with good food at affordable prices.

While staying at the Residence Inn at Capitol Park, we ate breakfast here twice as it is directly across the street from the hotel. As others have stated, it is not cafeteria-like at all. Atmosphere is great both inside and out on the enclosed courtyard. Service was fast. Food was decent but not spectacular. Portions are enormous. There’s a southern... More

I was in Sacramento for a week for work. On my first day I asked the concierge at my hotel (Citizen) for a brunch recommendation and he immediately suggested Cafeteria. Friend and I walked a good 10 minutes from the hotel and we were greeted by a line outside the restaurant. Upon seeing the line, I fired up my opentable.com... More

Had Sunday Brunch here with a friend. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was served pretty quick as well. I ordered one of the scrambles, and the portion size was decent. I would have preferred a less tater tots and more eggs/sausage etc, but other than that it was very good. Having "Cafeteria" in the name is... More

Senior talking to other seniors: Was here for special event, so can't speak for regular menu, but terrific ambiance and the food was overall very good. Relatively quiet, well-trained courteous staff, nice outdoor lounge area that is great in warm weather, $10 parking lot next door. Consider off-peak reservation to escape big crowds in late evening, when a club opens... More

We loved the huge outdoor seating! The lunch menu includes a small plates section with soups and salads , perfect for the times you want a good meal but not a large portion. I enjoyed the Beet Salad (I highly recommend it) filed with several flavors that were not overwhelming, but complimentary to each part. The grilled ham & cheese... More

The restaurant is hip, clean, and the wait staff is accommodating. I just ordered the wrong thing ... fish and chips in Sacramento, CA??? It was too heavy for me. However, my friends ordered salads with salmon and other things that they all enjoyed.
