Superior Mexican Food

Enjoyed everything about this place. The service, the atmosphere, and above all the food was excellent. I had the shrimp tacos ... I'd suggest you leave off the cabbage ... it was super without it. Sauce was so tasty.

I just love the ambiance and surroundings at this restaurant. The food has always been delicious. It's a great place to try something new, to feel like you've gone off the beaten path. The decor is beautiful. Service has always on time and attentive. I love just envisioning this restaurant. Eclectic and old world, with contemporary as well, such a... More

I have visited this restaurant several times over the last year but this trip was not up to par. Service was slow. Ordered guacamole and it didn't order until the middle of the entrees. (we weren't charged) Two of the entrees came to the table cold. :( There were only 3 of us in the party and the server couldn't... More

We sat outside and enjoyed an amazing lunch a few days ago. They were even dog friendly and brought our dog a nice bog bowl of ice water. The food portions were very large for lunch and reasonable for the area. I had baja fish tacos with salad, rice and beans for $12.50!! They also made a special margarita for... More

Have been here several times and have had positive experiences. Today was unbelievable. Total lack of service on drinks and food. Three tries to order a drink. Food came out cold. They must know they have a problem, because they did not charge us for the drink that took three tries and for the salad that was missing the protein.... More

Great tacos, either fish tacos or build your own. A fairly upscale Mexican food place, inside was so noisy though, that we requested to sit outside so we could talk. Which was great, but as the evening cooled off, and service was very slow, we slowly went hypothermic. Finally had to go inside and ask them to bring the bill,... More

Seriously, mexican food? This is the worst restaurant I've been to in Sacramento. Who the hell gives a massive basket of chips and a thimble of salsa and bean dip? The menu is terrible, the food is terrible and the staff is rude. I get why my boss likes them so much but seriously this place is terrible plain and... More

We waited about 45 minutes on a Friday for a table for three. We could have waited in the bar and nursed a margarita with chips and salsa. We went for a walk and awaited our text and looked at victorian homes. The food was very good. The chips and salsa are delicious. I especially liked the milder salsa. We... More

Had a cup of tortilla soup, what a terrible mistake, thank goodness they have good chips and salsa, otherwise I would had left hungry. The soup was salty and thick with beans and pieces of chicken. True tortilla soup does not have so many ingredients.
