I've been here a few times before, but never on the patio. It reached 102 today, but it was perfect about 6pm. Maysa is a superb server, totally funny and on the ball (including asking my friend if she'd like her fish tacos grilled instead of fried. Perfect!) My partner enjoyed chicken mole enchiladas, our friend had fish tacos, I... More

using trip advisor and some new friends at the Capital Tap we stumbled upon Zocalo. It is so elegant and lovely inside, we expected it to be pricey but were pleasantly surprised by reasonable prices. Margaritas and chips with salsa and black bean dip set the mood - very positive. The menu was very creative - not just your basic... More

I was in Sacramento on business and wanted Mexican. Food was great and prices were very good too. Service was outstanding too. It has been a while, probably 4 years since I have been to Zocalo, but will surely return on my next visit to Sacramento. Authentic mexican dishes with great flavors and high quality and fresh ingredients.

I hadn't been to Zocalo for a few years and happened to be in the area. I am so glad I stopped by. The restaurant has a very nice décor-it's a very pleasant place to enjoy a meal. The food was excellent-we had chili verde with eggs and carnitas with eggs-both prepared and presented well, and we were given a... More

4.5 stars- Zocalo is unlike any other restaurant in Sacramento. Its high energy, organized staff, locale, design and food are all first rate. Two huge patios and windows that open up across both street frontages of the restaurant will give you an al fresco dining experience even if you're inside. Ideal as a date spot or a place to meet... Had a wonderful dinner here for my birthday. Drinks, appetizers, and dinner was wonderful as was the service. One problem...the valet service. Left my car with them only to discover on its return huge scratches through the paint on the hood and small dents! Restaurant was great in putting me in contact with valet service...but they have been quite difficult.... More

I have only had chips, salsa, guac, and drinks here, as it is the closest "bar" to my friend's place in Midtown Sacramento, but I would go for good, definitely. They make the best margaritas (and I could consider myself a knowledgeable margarita drinker haha) from only fresh ingredients. None of that fake mix etc. Just fresh juice, amazing tequila,... More

Great service; friendly and welcoming staff. The food was fresh, tasty, and LOTS of it! It's a 2 for one as our waiter said (come for lunch and take home dinner!). I've been to the location in the Fountains in Roseville - also very good and I actually like their outdoor seating area better than the Sac location but both... More
