We recently dined at the Kitchen to celebrate 3 birthdays with our friends. It's a wonderful experience with unique food combinations and enticing flavors. We chose the recommended wine pairings and were very happy with the selection. The executive chef John Griffiths was informative, friendly and entertaining. In addition to the five course meal, they provide a great "intermission" in which... More

This restaurant with executive chef John Griffiths is one of the top five restaurants we have eaten at anywhere in the world. Located ina building with no signage, It is so popular that you will need to make reservations two months in advance. You are allowed to walk into the kitchen at any time and talk to the chefs and... Loved celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at The Kitchen!. It was like being at a private dinner party. You are encouraged to mingle and walk all over the kitchen--to talk with the chefs and browse the wine closet, etc. We were seated at the bar area where they prep the plates--very fun to watch. Everyone was in a celebratory mood... More

For years my wife and I had heard about The Kitchen and with our anniversary coming up, I thought it would be an extra special treat for us to celebrate it there. Since The Kitchen has only one seating limited to 50 people per night, you either need to call weeks in advance if you are looking to make a... More

When making reservations def ask to be seated at the counter so you are closer to the action. Good craft beers too. At about $200/pp it's def for special occasions only, but I will return!

I've eaten at the Kitchen a few times and every time I am amazed at how fabulous it is. It's always awhile between visits because it's so hard to get a reservation!! If you are lucky enough to have it be a night that Randall, the owner, is there, it's a particular treat. It's truly an experience to have him... More

Our family had dinner there in December, it was expensive but well worth it. Food was outstanding - the demonstration style dining is very unique. Try to get a place on the counter to get a close up view of the cooking.

I could, of course, go on and on about the show, the service, the food, the experience, but I think that's been done numerous times before. Instead, I want to note one positive and one negative from our last visit. First the positive: The intermission has changed for the better. Instead of all 50 guests crammed outside on the patio... My boyfriend decided to surprise me with a late birthday dinner here, we met 2 of our friends in advanced and headed over. We brought our own wine under the assumption of the $30 corkage fee, turns out the fee was $50 so we decided to just order bottles of wine from the menu. Before dinner starts, they encourage you... From the first greeting, The Kitchen is a treat for the senses. It's rather difficult to call it a restaurant because the feeling and atmosphere is unlike the standard fine dining experience. There are very few choices to be made as The Kitchen provides a Prix Fixe affair and numerous courses. The dining room is literally part of the kitchen,... More
