first off hour and half wait just to get seated on a saturday night. when we got seated the cocktail server brought drinks to our table which we did not even order as we had just sat down. then again they brought drinks to the table and appetizers before we even ordered. (should have took the items) finally got a... More

Nothing special. We ordered a seafood pot with crab, shrimp, corn, sausage. Crab was good, shrimp over cooked, corn mushy. Service was okay. Like when the servers come out and dance. Like any other Joe's Crab Shack. I don't think I would go to another one unless someone in the group has never been to one before. And expect to... More

With the exception of location, this restaurant doesn't offer anything "special"; it's just another chain with okay food at fairly reasonable prices for seafood. As others have stated, our table was sticky and the place was a bit noisy, but it fits the bill for a family experience or a group of friends. Dining on the deck is nice as... More

We like the food at Joe's and go for dinner and drinks about 6 times a year. The food is always good and the setting right on the river is beautiful. We were planning a small wedding reception and thought kids might be attending so we wanted a casual location. It turned out to be just adults, but everyone had... More

Hadn't been able to coordinate a visit to Joe's...ever. I was given a window table. I had read that the place was noisy, but I'm not going to Joe's for a hushed candlelight dinner; on this day, it wasn't noisy at all. After I ordered the Queen Crab bucket, I sat and watched the river go by...Very cool. The crab... More

Went for my childs birthday - the "crab" eater. She has been wanting to go for a long time. The good: We were seated quickly, they gave her this bib with 'birthday girl' written on it - which was cute, they had her dance around the restaurant while everyone sang happy birthday, the servers danced and even had disco lights,... Fun atmosphere, nice location on the river in Old Sac, lively and lots of energy, great food. Can be very very busy so don't be in a hurry. We went for dinner on a weekend and took a long time to be served. Fun gift shop with good quality clothing. I recommend at least once.

We called to order take out a half hour before they closed. They could not take my order over the phone. I let they know I was downstairs at the dock in our boat and I would be right up. I had to go in to place our order. Ok fine, I understand they don't want to take a order... More

We went to Joe's Crab Shack to celebrate a birthday. The staff sang and had birthday girl ride a stick horse around the room. Everyone entered in on the song while she hopped around the room. Had lots of fun!! The staff also sings a happy song periodically through the evening which keeps the atmosphere happy and lively. Will go... More
