It's a nice location with good food that's a little pricey but your paying for location. Hostess seemed inconvenienced and our server introduced herself by saying, "I'll be helping you out," as though she just happened to be around and would do what she could. She did a good job bit couldn't get it out of my mind that her... More

The food at Rio City Cafe is wonderful. Start off with the Ahi Tuna nachos (they are very good). Any main course looks and is delicious, I have tried several in the past. The service is great and can handle large groups. Our group was 17 and the waiter took excellent care of all of us. We did have reservations... More

I loved this place! I was visiting the area, and a friend recommended it. I enjoyed the whole experience so much that I took my husband and son back a week later. The view and atmosphere outside on the river are really enjoyable, and the food is excellent. The service is great too! I do not live in the area,... More

four of us enjoyed a delightful lunch here. I was impressed that rice was substituted for pasta as requested by our gluten free family members. Frankly, I suspect the rice went even better with the special sauce that with pasta. However, we were pleased, as well. Dessert selections did not appeal, so we went to a dessert specialty restaurant for... More

We ate outside and enjoyed the crab cakes, swordfish, and ahi tuna. Prices were not horrific, considering the riverfront/Old Sacramento location, but it is best suited for couples and groups of adults. Service was attentive and the experience was a pleasant one overall.

We were here for lunch seated outdoors with a view of the Gold Bridge in wonderful N. CA weather. They are known for a Kobe beef mix hamburger. Of course, it must be cooked to medium or well. The rosemary fries are crisp and hot and delicious. A salad with red and yellow beets was refreshing and different. I was... More

Sacramento needs more decks over the water like this place. It's so great to sit on the deck and watch the boats go by and the bridge raise up for the sailboats. Glass of wine. Summer breeze. But I must admit, when it gets up to the 90s it's a bit too warm. Solid menu. I enjoy their appetizers for... More

There are lots of places to eat in Old Town and this is one of the better ones for sure. It can get pretty busy, even a little too crowded but the food and view make this one of your best choice's in Old Town Sac!
