Excellent Chilean Sea Bass

Went for the Chilean Sea Bass for an early Valentines dinner. The $29 price for this entrée made me hesitate but it was well worth it. Crab cake appetizers were great. I enjoyed my Kobe beef burger with perfect fries, cooked rare even thought the menu says they only do medium... Such a sweet waitress, too. Free refills on the espresso, but it was not hot enough..... Nice selection of wines by the glass. And they let you taste it first.

Meal was solid. Had a steak, mashed potatoes, asparagus, bread and a Caesar. The restaurant had a weird smell when I got there. Not sure what that was. But, overall, good meal. I asked for medium steak, knowing I like it a little rare and when you ask for medium, it's generally more rare than done. This was a little... More

There are many restaurants in Old Town Sacramento, but, if you want to experience the best, well come to this one! We had the Kobe burgers with rosemary fries with extra avocado. To die for! The service was impeccable, fast, courteous and attentive. We had a table right on the river and the view was very pleasant. I recommend this... More

The clam chowder is delicious. Perfect ambience right on the water. Medium prices. I will return. The chef made a special dip for sweet potato fries. Salmon sandwich unique. The calamari with siracha dip good.

Great Sunday brunch, delicious food, enthusiastic servers, and the location is unbeatable, right on the river. Easy parking in the Old Town parking structure at the south end. Excellent experience.

We took my father for his birthday during Dine Downtown. Booth near the bar was quiet and private. Excellent soup/salad for first course. Mushroom, butternut squash ravioli, salmon and HUGE steak were our entrees. We had to take the steak home there was so much. Both the pineapple upside down cake and creme brûlée were delicious for dessert. Nice leisurely meal,... More

We ate brunch at Rio City Cafe today after a bike race in old Sacramento. Food was very good, prices were reasonable for a tourist spot. In addition, our server was outstanding. Much better than other options in Old Sacramento.

One of the bright spots in Old Sacramento. Excellent restaurant right on the river front. We sat outside and enjoyed the pleasant weather. Nice menu with a lot of variety. We had Tostada Chicken, Clam Bowl and Spinach Salad. All were very good. Our server was very friendly and fast. I would go back if we are in Sacramento again.... More

Our family went here for brunch on New Year's eve. We called ahead that morning for reservations. They gave us a wonderful table by the window and we could watch the boats passing by. The waitress was attentive and timely. The menu had many choices and the portions were a good size. The 8 of us all chose different entrees... More
