Our menu and bar program are influenced by French classics, yet dictated by the seasonal bounty of the Sacramento region. Originally established in 1983, the restaurant underwent an extensive remodel in 2015, combining both modern and traditional elements to create a relaxed, timeless environment that lets the food and drinks take center stage. The light and airy interior opens up to the renowned dining patio that features waterfalls, 60 year-old olive trees and a large fireplace.

Not what is was.....

Renovation is nice, but the food and experience isn't what it was. In an effort to move up a notch, Paragarys hasn't executed it well. We had a great dinner here before a concert and were quite pleased with the food, service, and the location. The natural setting area was full, but the seating was not cramped in the area we were seated. This site was as good as their other locations throughout the Sacramento area.

We've been doing the restaurant rounds for Dine Downtown/Restaurant Week in Sac and we've been very happy with the Paragary group restaurants. Esquire, Hock Farm, and Paragary's are the ones we visited. We ordered pretty much everything featured on the dine downtown menu and everything was excellent. The Duck Leg Confit with Pork Belly was especially good. Well done and... More

Always wonder about a place that treats people who make reservations worse than walkins. We had a reservation - arrived on time to a fairly empty restaurant and were asked to sit and wait. Was having a holiday dinner with grandmother and children. Then we were seated in an empty back room. The dinner then proceeded to be a disaster.... More

Freshly remodeled, this lovely venue has been a favorite for 30 years. The patio is an inviting oasis all year round. The menu is small but varied and flavorful.

Just came back from our first visit to Paragary's and had to read all the other reviews to see if anyone commented on the weird tables by the bar/hallway to the patio. We had made a reservation and still got seated at one of these small narrow tables facing the bar or a door to some storage room (??) You... More

Had breakfast with my daughter. She had eggs benedict. The bread was so hard that she almost needed a hammer and chisel to cut it. The eggs and sauce were fine. Why is bread so hard to get right! Since it was her birthday breakfast we were disappointed. I had the frittata which was good but not great.

This restaurant is a gem. It is understated and chic and has a fabulous outdoor patio. But, more importantly, the service and food is wonderful. My nieces took me there on a recent trip to Sac and I kept thinking that as wonderful has restaurants are in my hometown os Seattle, I would love to have this restaurant there. The... More

Paragary has been refurbished and looks outstanding. The patio is charming and the menu excellent. Had their famous mushroom salad together with a pumpkin soup, that was spicy. The press coffee was very good too.

The newly renovated Paragary's is Outstanding. The food continues to be the BEST. Six of us helped celebrate our friends 80th birthday. We got a table, on the patio, in a little corner ... so we wouldn't disturb others (ha-ha). We had a leisure and delicious (pizza, hamburger and pasta dishes and Panna Cotta for dessert.
