This place clearly knows how to do Italian. Everything tasted fresh - including the pasta. Our table of 5 grabbed a small variety of entrees - the carbonara and the (Thursday special!) lasagna were popular choices. Melt in your mouth was how they were described. for dessert? They had a limoncello cake with raspberries. Much have been seasonal, as it... More

In town on business with co-workers and saw the reviews on here and thought would give it a try. When we mentioned we were going here to the people we were visiting, they all said we will love it. Oh boy, were they right! We were fortunate to be there on a night they serve lasagna. Different than you've had... More

When I go out to dine with friends and family I like to talk to my company more than the waiters. I would consider their service "over service" which I truly dislike.

the food is fresh and involved with wonderful flavor. The service can be a bit slow but once you have your wait person they are very attentive. And if you are lucky the wonderful Biba will make her rounds to stop and chat at tables to make sure everything is as you would expect. We have found the meals to... More

I adore anything with fresh tomatoes here in late summer or fall. They always use heirloom varieties at their peak of flavor. As my mother-in-law used to say, it's like a trip to Italy without all the traveling.

Biba's is so good! The food is excellent, the atmosphere, and the service...all outstanding. It is a place that you can take families, friends, clients, etc. Everyone will find something good to eat. Appetizers are wonderful, and food is so good. They use the freshest ingredients, and all have a wonderful taste. I've not had a bad meal here ever!... More

Well, down home if you're northern Italian. Also down home in that the dishes are the real thing, nicely plated, but devoid of trendoid touches - no "vertical cuisine" here. Just honest Italian food prepared and served with finesse. Nice wine list, too. Of course I may be prejudiced, because years before her restaurant, Biba Caggiano taught my wife how... More

Their is no other old world meets Nuevo California cuisine establishment as fine as BIBA's. I have taken many of my business clients from all parts of the world and they all agree. Biba"s is the best meal and service in Northern California. There is no comparison for her out of this world Lasagna. The pasta is from a heavenly... More

Biba has a name for herself in Sacramento. I own several of her cookbooks, and have always loved her Italian dishes. The warm atmosphere of her restaurant, combined with great food, always makes it a delightful place to dine.
