Excellent service, moderate portion size, always tasty and sophisticated. Run by a fine lady, who's authored many cookbooks (for sale at the restaurant).

My wife and I have eaten in Italian restaurants around the world including Rome, Venice and Milan. The fettuccini in Rome at Alfredo's is good but can't compare with that at Biba's. The ambiance is pleasant and the wait staff is fantastic. The pasta dishes and the sauces are the best we have ever had. Make an early reservation to... More

Quite simply put, this is my favorite restaurant in Sacramento. The food is superb and the service is great. If they have a ravioli special, get it!

I met Biba 30 years ago when she was just starting out. This is definitely the best restaurant in town. Began with ravioli and gnocchi for starters and then short ribs for the main course. Biba stopped by to say hello. Spectacular evening.

First let me say that it had been years since I last frequented local chef and cookbook author, Biba Caggiano's namesake restaurant. My last visit was less than adequate and so I had not returned. However, based on my recent experience, I would not hesitate to dine here again. The dining room atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Service was pleasant... More

A true test of good Italian restaurant is the gnocchi. If poorly done, gnocchi can sink to the bottom of your stomach and lay there like lead balls. But when well done, gnocchi is light and airy and has a subtle flavor that is not overwhelmed by a heavy sauce. The gnocchi at Biba's was just that. It was divine!

The food is delicious especially the pasta. Biba has owned and run the restaurant for years. She has published several cookbooks.

This Italian restaurant is well worth the reservation wait. The flavors are so unique that the owner has her own cookbook published according to our waitress. The bar has a large waiting area and big screen TV so that you do not miss any current sporting event scores or news. Our group had a large variety of the daily specials... More

Biba's is a fine Italian restaurant in Sacramento, and Chef Biba has been hosting folks for years in a very fine environment. Several of her excellent cook books are available at the restaurant as well. If you can go on Thursday, Biba serves her famous pasta...outstanding!
