Probably the best dining experience in Sacramento. The lasagna on Thursdays and Fridays is not to be missed. The last time we were there they had a swordfish special that was served over veggies that my wife thought was fantastic. Be sure to say hi to the owner Biba.

Great food, attentive service, appreciative staff, fair prices for both grub and grog, clean, consistent ... what more can you ask for?

Hubby and I drove from the burbs into Sacramento to try this restaurant that we'd heard so much about. The food was delicious, but the ambience wasn't at all pretentious. It's the kind of place you could go for a fancy night or with the family for a casual meal. We had the lasagna - all gazillion layers of super-thin... More

We took my mother-in-law there a few days before Mother's Day for lunch. The ambiance is great as is the service. We valet parked the car so no walking. Everything about the experience was "elegant." Worth a couple of extra bucks sometimes to just feel special. The food was also good. I noticed they made up for quantity with quality.

Biba is one of the two best restaurants in Sacramento. The food is delicious (although we ask them not to salt things in the kitchen as it can get a bit salty) and Biba herself stops by your table to say hello. What could be more gracious than that. This is a destination restaurant which predates the trendy "Farm to... More

If you are ever in Sacramento, do yourself a huge favor and make a reservation at Biba! Great Italian food, perhaps the best home made pasta I have ever had in the U.S. Yes, that good! Tip #2: ask for Jeannine. Warm, friendly and fun (and six nights a week!) We told Jeannine what we liked in food and she directed... More

I have never been disappointed at this restaurant. The service is excellent and the food is wonderful. Just the right portions. A little pricey but worth it considering the ingredients. The dining room is very LOUD when full, would not consider it for a romantic meal.

Biba is larger than it seems from the outside. The ambience was very nice. The waiters are friendly without exagerating. The food was delicious and the local wine from the Wineyard was a great selection.

We reserved a table for a family dinner on a Friday evening, and the earliest time available was 8:15 pm. The place was crowded (and noisy) when we arrived and were seated at our table. The following are our entrees with grades: Spaghetti Carbonara Primaverile: B-. Good, but little too much black pepper. Lasagne Verdi alla Bolognese: B-. Too much... More
