A very special place

Great food and great service in Old Sacramento at a reasonable price. The bisque was hot and tasty and the Romaine salad with blue cheese dressing was perfect. Can't go wrong with the Firehouse.

OK to start with french cusie is not my thing. The portions are miniscual but that is made up for the the HUGE prices. the quality of the meal was fine, not exceptional but I didn't send it back. No Steak and potatoes here though.

We dined here with friends, this was an amazing fine dining experience. The restaurant is beautiful with perfect ambiance. The service was impeccable, and the food was beyond delicious. I had a duck confit with homemade tortellini that was absolute perfection! This is a must go-to place in old Sac.

If you have only one meal to eat in Sacramento, make it at The Firehouse. We enjoyed all aspects of this wonderful meal. The wine recommendation was spot on, the food was perfection and the service was excellent. It is upscale and you get what you pay for. An added treat was the fact sheet about this beautiful, unusual, eclectic... More

An iconic landmark in Sacramento most anyone who likes a nice dinner out from time to time will know. Entering through the long-bar, old firehouse fixtures cue you to a time long ago, the restaurant opens up as you move through. The weathered brick walls, gilded artwork, and chandeliers suggest class, maturity, and sophistication. This may have served the firehouse... More

Upscale environment (my son had to check his hat at the door). White linen table clothes, silver and at least 4 people attending to our experience were impressive. The wine list is many, many pages long and the cost is high. I would recommend bringing your own wine and paying the corkage fee of $20 per bottle. There is a... More

The restaurant is old style class. It has warmth and talks money. yes it is pricey but well worth it. The filet mignon is the best I have ever had. Everything we have had has been wonderful. The staff is very attentive and friendly.

What a wonderful treat we had in finding this restaurant! Came here with several co-workers. Great atmosphere, food was incredible. I had the pork shank, outstanding! We will come back next time we are in town.
