Came in here for dinner, business meeting. We ordered Fillet Mignon medium rare and deserts are Chocolate Mousse. The Fillet Mignon came out a bit rare not Medium rare but the meat is so tender so I am OK with that. The dessert is good...not super but tasty. Service are very excellent, they serve you really good and respectfully.

Was with a group of 8 last night and had a very good experience. The only disappointment was the oysters and I think it was just because our group is from the Midsouth and not used to this type of oyster. Everything else was EXCELLENT. Service was excellent also.

My wife and I celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary with a dinner at the Firehouse but sadly I was disappointed with the lack of "special" feeling given that I had told them of the reason for a special dinner out. Upon checking in they simply said - "Oh I see you are celebrating your anniversary -- happy anniversary" No rose... More

The Firehouse is one of the top restaurants in Sacramento. It has valet parking available or some metered street parking. You enter the restaurant through a long bar area before you reach the hostess stand. There are many booths along the walls with open tables towards the middle of the room. My husband and I always get the chateaubriand beef... More

Spend Christmas Eve here for dinner every year. Make sure you make reservations early so you can sit upstairs in the "living room" atmosphere. So comfortable, service persons are excellent, never have to ask for anything! Interesting and diverse menu. Always a lovely evening.

The food at the Firehouse is Outstanding and so are the services there. The same care and attention you get from the dinner service is the same you get with the lunch service. The courtyard outside is beautiful and very relaxing. I love eating there and I offen recommand friends and guests to go and eat at the Firehouse.

Had a wonderful dinner, I had chicken with figs and it was great. We had the cabernet flight which was fun sampling different cabs. It's certainly pricey but the service was great and it felt very special.

I dropped in to Firehouse with a colleague and was surprised at the formality. I had read good reviews but apparently didn't catch the ambiance. We were immediately asked if we had a reservation; we did not. While there were tables available in the courtyard (where everyone seemed to be seated) we were seated in an empty dining. At first... Overall experience was great. Couldn't fault the service. The venue is magnificent. Food fantastic. The location is in the old town and easy to find. They offer valet parking also.
