We accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant and thank all Gods! Since we were only planning to have a cocktail to escape the unforgiving "Sac" heat, we sat at the bar, not expecting much. We received a warm welcome from Mr. Isaac--the bar tender, who encouraged us, with great finesse and tact, to try a bite. We ordered their smoked tenderloin... More

My wife is gluten sensitive and the chef was able to accommodate her no problem. Even made an amouse bouche gluten free as well. Service was great and everything we had was delicious. Prices are high, but I feel you get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend it and will be back when in Sacramento

My husband and I went here for our anniversary and had a lovely, quiet, romantic dinner. The service was impeccable. Our waiter helped make our anniversary dinner very special.

One of the classic restaurant in Sacramento, perfect for special occasions or just to enjoy a nice meal in beautiful setting. Restaurant has several big rooms and patio area for hosting big events. Service is impeccable, food delicious and ambiance is lovely. Restaurant is in old Sacramento which adds to its charm. Parking is street or $7 for valet. Tip... More

I had lunch with a friend in the courtyard/patio area. Beautiful decor inside and out. I had the Risotto, which was outstanding. The service was great and the staff friendly.

I should have kept driving people! Ingredients DONT match prices!!! Now when you read the language buildup of the product and ya already hungry than a bear since Sunday dinner, licking Ya lips, anticipation is high.... Then they serve you a sandwich Ya need a MAGNIFYING GLASS to see, you be like "I didn't order off the kids menu sir".......

This is a classically elegant restaurant. it is quite deceiving from outside. The restaurant is actually quite large. We sat on the patio and ordered from their "Lite Lunch" menu. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The service was impeccable and we were enormously impressed!

Had dinner with family on a Sunday evening and brought a bottle of wine. Corkage fee of $20 was waived, since we purchased a bottle from restaurant. Wine list is extensive and includes Screaming Eagle at $4,400 per bottle. We decided on a bottle of E Guigal for $60 that was quite good. My son ordered the Royal Tokaji Essencia,... More

A bit on the pricey side, but descent service, great atmosphere and excellent food. Our server was not bad, but looking around there were some more attentive. Overall a nice experience.
