Tower Cafe is definitely a gem. This is a great place for locals to take out-of-towners. I'm not sure what's best, the outdoor setting or their desserts. If you sit inside in view of the dessert display, you will definitely save room for one of their rich desserts. If you sit on the patio, you may at one point realize... More

My wife and I are big fans of outdoor eating and this is the place to go if you're in Sacramento. We visit occasionally and have never been disappointed here. On our most recent visit it was a warm but not hot day and we went for lunch. The lush garden pulls you in, practically demanding that you sit for... More

If the weather is nice, definitely eat outdoors. It is a beautiful garden setting and it right next door to the Tower Theater, In the summer they have misters going to keep the patrons cool. There is a large menu offering something for everyone. The service was excellent and, although the server was covering a number of tables, she made... More

For the moment we arrived staff were incredibly friendly. The atmosphere and decor are amazing. The food is incredible and the portions are great. A must visit!

What a great find. It is always a treat to find a place that far exceeds the reviews (or in most cases just meets the reviews). Tower Cafe was much better than the number placed in the reviews. We had the special, cornmeal pancakes with pieces of bacon mixed in the batter. They were great. It came with 2 eggs... More

The placed lived up to it's hype. I loved my food. We went there for sunday brunch and only had to wait 30 min. They don't take reservations and don't even try to make them. We went for mothers day and it was a 3 hour wait so we said hell no and came back another time. On a nice... More

I had the Eggs Tower and that was yum. Although I would have loved hash browns instead of the potatoes. The french toast was so yummy as well. Very custardy. Same goes for the Monte Cristo. Definitely be going back again.

The Tower Cafe (actually the birthplace of Tower Records) is a destination in itself. Dining on the patio makes you feel like you've escaped to some foreign land, with the splashing fountains, shade from the palm trees, and many flowering plants. Inside is chock full of a world traveler's keepsakes. Very crowded-try to go at an off time. The menu... More

This is such an interesting place. It has the most intriguing decor. South American or Mexico South, some Spanish influences. The food is wonderful. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with grilled pineapple and some sort of spicy, tasty, yummy sauce on it. Service was very good and the variety of the menu meant there was someone for everyone at... Great place if you can eat outside. Noisy and crowded inside. I like this place for breakfast. Lunch and dinner menus don't appeal to me but my wife loves it.
