This is a favorite spot for Sacramento locals especially for breakfast. They are known for their French toast. They have interesting and yummy omelettes. Fun to eat outside when weather permits. They have misters when it's warm to cool you. Nice plants around. Great way to start a day.

Tower café is always interesting. Sit inside and look at the eclectic collection of stuff from other countries, or sit outside and enjoy the vegetation. when dining outside its easy to forget that you are just feet away from a busy intersection. The food is a cut above chain restaurants, but shouldn't be compared with upscale restaurants in mid-town. Great... More

Yummy unique food, the service is great (coffee cup never reached the bottom), and we love the atmosphere! We went for breakfast, but dinner and desserts are wonderful also.

An old institution that is somewhat faded. Much better ethnic restaurants just east on Broadway. However, there are always lines, especially on weekends for breakfast and lunch.

This is a terrific place to go for brunch, lunch, after a movie, whatever. Well worth a visit or three.

Tower Cafe is a tired institution. It's decor is dusty Cost Plus and its international menu can be found better served in a dozen restaurants within walking distance. I'm baffled as to why there's always a crowd waiting outside for Sunday brunch. Maybe they're people from out of town who remembered enjoying their meal there ten years ago. Well, they... More

great -- yes I said GREAT! eclectic food and desserts! Absolutely love their green curry, Chile Relleno, french toast, omeletts, actually everything I've eaten there. We always take out-of-town guests there. Incredible walls with goodies from around the world on them. Can't go wrong. People from San Francisco come there to eat.

Every time I visit, usually at the insistence of a dining companion, I again find ordinary food and portion sizes, prices on the high side across the board, and service slow and spotty. With that, I admit they are on to something that makes such a draw, in spite of much better options. Perhaps it's the corner location with the... More

Had a nice Mother's Day brunch last year. Nice shady garden makes the wait relaxing. Great for kids, moms, grandmas.

The outside patio is beautiful and worth the wait if you go during a busy time. I dined there today at lunch with no wait. The veggie burger was moist, delicious and very filing. My mom enjoyed the American style burger as well. The salads are large and judging from the happy crowd everything is a home run. Will be... More
