We loved the breakfast here, especially the scones. I would absolutely eat here again if I was in town.

Great English style breakfasts...the best 'purple toast'...their whole wheat walnut. Homemade jams. And, our 14-year old says the best French toast anywhere! My favorite is the pub grill, all the good stuff together in one dish! Yum. And good strong coffee....aaah.

We with a group of about fourteen including an out of town guest on a Sunday. The place was very busy. They don't take reservations, but will put you on the "wait list" if one of the party goes in. This worked OK, but the wait was about 45 min. Fortunately, the rest of the party were coming in about... More

Went with friends. Ate dinner and had drinks. Food is OK, nothing special, not terrible but nothing to write home to mom about. They have a wide range of music here, and a wide range of different and unique drinks. We went on a night they had a folk band playing. I had a hibiscus cider that was really good.... More

My wife and I stopped by here one day during the afternoon. It seemed we hit the back end of the lunch crowd. Both of us got fish and chips, while the fish was not as crispy as I would have liked, it was very good and still better than the fish and chips I had at the Eagle and... More

My first introduction to this place was in 1989 during a weekly singing night. This doo wop singing group from Davis sang a song with words that have stayed with me over the years. D A V I S spells Davis California. Anyway, the impression was lasting. Over the years during my tenure in the area and when I return... More

We dine out one night weekly with my in-laws, and were looking for a change of pace. This restaurant (truly a British Pub restaurant!) was great! While a lot of folks were in the nice bar area, we were one of only 5 tables in the restaurant on a Monday night. The menu has GREAT variety (British and Scottish favorites)... More

When you walk into the restaurant you almost have to second guess if you are still in the US. The place is decked out like an authentic gastropub in England, including an image of the underground on the way to the bathroom. I cannot stop raving about the coffee here. We decided to have a light breakfast with the most... More

We went for a Birthday celebration. It was on a Sunday, about noonish. The restaurant was packed. We waited probably 45 minutes for a table. The menu is very extensive, which is nice to suit everyone. I had the Eggs Benedict with corned beef. The corned beef was cut into a million little pieces. Next time I will try bacon... More

Great food, great service, fun decor! My fourteen year daughter and I sat outside. We both loved our brunch. The waitstaff was perfectly attentive and charming. Next time, I want to sit inside and stare at the super cool artwork.
