On this particular day the weather was excellent, so sitting outside was a pleasure, albeit the view isn't anything to write home about. Still, the breakfasts are very plentiful and tasty, and lunch options equally so.

We've been to Fox and Goose twice now and both times were the same. Great breakfast, generous portions and good service. There always seems to be a large crowd waiting, so get their early, sit on the patio or get a drink from the bar ahead. Their mimosas are popular and their bloody marys are quite tasty. Get the works... More

Need I say more? A British style pub with bad fish and chips. The Pollock fish was ok but the batter was flavorless, oily and soggy. We also had the Shepards Pie, which was ok but tasted miicrowaved. Not recommended.

Breakfast at the Fox & Goose Pub is like wearing your favorite pair of comfortable shoes. You know the fit will always be right. The Fox & Goose has the ambiance -- and the menu and bar beverages -- of a typical English pub. The restaurant does not take reservations. On weekends you will join a line of people waiting... More

I was looking for a place that served Guinness for an after race refresher and found a wonderful Scottish pub that also serves a lovely breakfast. Our wait was worth every minute. We had a classic English breakfast and an omelet which was personalized to taste (including a fruit scone with clotted cream, YUM). Though the cream is not traditional... More

Thought I would give it a try have to look into reviews on trip advisor. My wife, daughter and granddaughter came in on a Friday night. Bangers and mash not impressive, Fish and chips were okay. Lay chocolate grand marnier was okay but not what we expected. The beer selection was great though!

Get there early--long waits if you arrive at peak times. Restaurant appears to be a converted warehouse located in an historical section of Sacramento, perhaps dating back to the 19th century.

We had to wait one and a half hours to get seated on a Saturday for brunch, but the food was worth it. I loved the scones with the cream. So moist!

Been going here for years but never did a review. Seems the place has become more popular over the years despite its negatives which is surprising because that is why we seldom go here anymore. On Sundays, unless you get there before 8, plan on waiting and after 9 plan on waiting a LONG time. Despite their adding outside seating... More

Pros: The "West End Burger" was amazing. The English cheddar owned every bite of this delectable grub. Perfect chips/fries. My daughter said her breakfast waffles were "delightful!" They have a medium amount of draft beers, but the delicious options out way the limited selections. And yes, they have real pints! EVERY server/staff member was very pleasant, helpful, kind, and seemingly... More
