Brunch at the goose

I had family in from out of town and wanted to take them somewhere different for a Sunday brunch. I arrived a half hour earlier than the rest of the group and good thing I did. The wait was around 1 hour so needless to say this cut our wait in half. You sign in at the bar which was... read more

Very excited to visit this establishment on our short stop in Sacramento....however the service was spotty (forgot to deliver my salad) and the food lackluster. Looking forward to Welsh Rarebit and when it arrived the sauce had broken, it was lousy. Stouffers is better. The mixed drinks only ok and the beer is limited. Great location and live music sometimes.

I have only come for breakfast and I will continue. I recommend the "full works" bloody mary. It has lots of pickled veggies, blue cheese stuffed olives, and a piece of bacon. Also, I recommend the scones with Devenshire cream. Heavenly!!

Had breakfast at Fox and Goose after a long hiatus. The British Omelet is still great! Very busy on a Sunday morning but we were quickly accommodated. It had probably been eight years since I've eaten there but it was just as good as always.

Came here on a Saturday and enjoyed a good breakfast. Linguisa sausage on the menu. Lots of traditional English breakfast items on the menu. Only drawback is that it's very noisy.

I Have enjoyed two breakfasts at this pub. They offer a traditional English breakfast and British beer on tap. A good value and lively environment with indoor and outdoor seating.

I had this restaurant on my "To Do List," and I'm happy I found it because I plan to return often. There was a wait on Sunday (approximately 15-25 minutes), but this usually means that the food is good, and it was. I started with a top notch Bloody Mary, and I'm not a drinker. I was enticed by the... More

This is a favorite spot in Sacramento, a lot of people think it's the greatest. I'm not one of them. 50 minute wait for brunch, food was alright, but nothing special. Scones were undercooked and doughy. It was OK, nothing bad, but nothing I'd wait around for again.

We have lived in the area for over 30 years, and although we had heard of the Fox and Goose, we'd never ventured over. My grandson took us there for my birthday brunch, assuring me it was great fun - AND IT WAS!! The building itself is worth the trip. It must have been a factory in its previous life,... More

Great breakfast! Had usual and different offerings than a typical american breakfast place. Crumpets and scones are a must try.
