Very satisfying food, with nice presentation, and reasonable prices

My wife and I had a very enjoyable dinner. She had the mole poblano, which was tasty, although milder than expected. The chicken was very tender. I had the carnitas urapan, which involved a large portion of very large chunks of savory pork. The food reminded us of some of our better experiences... read more

Love the different flavors the come out of this restaurant. Only downside is parking in the area but the food is definitely worthwhile. Reminds me of one of Rick Bayliss' fine Mexican restaurants.

Very good and unique dishes, not your typical American version of Mexican food. Everything our party of four ordered was excellent. Drinks were just OK to very good, again we all ordered different ones. Noisy. Excellent service. Would definitely do a return engagement and recommend to friends.

We were trying to figure out what to eat and I had seen this on Trip Advisor...so we we went for it. Staff very friendly, greeted and seated right away. It's a Friday night and had no issues getting a table. It did get busy it got later. I got a spicy kiss(?), jalapeño margarita type drink...very tasty. I got... More

This is a wonderful restaurant. The menu items are unusual and very tasty, there's an extensive bar with drinks like jalapeno margueritas, the atmosphere is upscale and the wait staff is solicitous. I ordered a dish with shrimp in garlic butter with sliced serrano peppers and rice, and it was wonderful. My companions raved about the mole', and we had... More

I went with two friends to this restaurant, which is not your 'typical' Mexican restaurant with good basic Mexican food at reasonable prices. Mayahuel occupies a large space, with high ceilings and artful decor. The menu is fairly extensive, with many tempting dishes. I settled for bowl of the poblano chili soup, and it was delicious and definitely spicy. Service... More

Lunch there with a business client. Good food with a spicy soup that kicked butt. Salad was ok but not great. Service was average but they were busy. Not the best Mexican food I've had but certainly above average. Good place to talk a little business though

There is no need to worry about the food. Go in and try it as there are many choices and they are well done. Enjoy!

I had a business lunch with a client and we tried this place. It was very good. Service was good, food was well presented and tasty and ingredients seemed quality and fresh. No complaints here at all!

My first time visit, and I WILL be back. The food tasted so good I actually dreamt about it the next evening. We ordered the Sangria, Enchilada verde, and carnitas. Everything was so delicious. The guacamole was creamy and fresh, sprinkled with cotija and cilantro. The salsa was just the right level of spicy for me, which is mild. And... More
