Friends took me out for my birthday. Started with cocktails - bartender made a great sangria for my wife - she really enjoyed it. I had my usual Kettle One on the rocks. We started with an order of every appetizer. Great tasting but small servings. After, we had soups and salads. The corn chowder was very tasty, the pork... More

This was my second visit to the Press and it is still my best meal in Sacramento! They do it ALL right; the service, the cocktails, the appetizers, the entrees; there isn't a weak aspect. We were a group of 6 and each had a different cocktail, and raved over them. they use unusual ingredients and do it perfectly (try... More

We stopped in for dinner last night. We sat at the bar (our choice) and from the cocktail (salt and pepper, yum) to dessert (strawberry rhubarb tart) dinner was delicious. We ordered the piquillo pepper stuffed with goat cheese appetizer, split a small mushroom ravioli, and I had the short rib with delicious cheesy polenta while my husband had the... More

We stumbled upon this place - party of six with no reservations on a Saturday night, with dietary restrictions. The restaurant accommodated us immediately, the chef came out to greet us and go over the menu, and everything was amazing. Great cocktails, awesome tapas, delicious appetizers and entrees too! We even got dessert and loved it. Lots of great vegetarian... More

Met another couple here for dinner on their recommendation. I did the 3 plate tapas. Great options and great taste. They could have a better beer selection, but the cocktails and wine list were impressive. We were able to sit outside so that was pretty great. The waiter kind of hovered over us, but I guess that can be expected... More

Met some of my friends here after they got off work. They had nice tapas style food and a few beers on taps that were pretty good as well as good size wine list. The clientele tends to be the professional crowd and not the typical hipster scene. We were only there for some pre-dinner drinks and while we definitely... More

Delicious, nice cocktails, friendly service. Much of the menu had bacon in some form or another on it. (Which I liked, perhaps not for you)

My company recently had a holiday lunch (private party) at The Press Bistro. We had a group of about 62 enjoy appetizers, cocktails, and a three-course meal served family style. Food was flavorful, and service was excellent. It was a great setting for a group of our size, and the owner worked with us to meet our needs and budget.... More

House wine served in decanters are good value and acceptable. The starters are a joy to share with calamari and the meatballs being a favorite. The main meal s are unpretentious and delicious. Fun place to visit with lots of friends.
