Very Good For A Sunday Brunch

Four of us went to Evan's this Sunday. We went early and got seated quickly. They had a very large breakfast menu with many kinds of egg dishes, meats, and some cereals. The server seated us, checked to answer any questions we had, took our order and was attentive all the time we were there. We... read more

We were visiting the Sacramento area and looking for a good hearty breakfast. Very unassuming from the outside, but don't be fooled!! When we walked in it was warm and welcoming. Staff was very friendly and patient (we had our 18-month old with us!). Lots of options to choose from and we settled on the Monte Cristo sandwich and chicken... More

My wife and I enjoyed breakfast on a Sunday morning. The servings are large and tasty, the coffee is very good, and the service was friendly. My breakfast of eggs, toast, potatoes and bacon came with 6 pieces of bacon. Great food and a great value.

One of the best unlimited mimosa brunches in Sacramento! The variety of Benedicts are overwhelming. You just can't chose one! I love the Peter's Perfect Bene (chicken apple sausage, avocado drizzled with balsamic) and the Monterrey Bene (prawns, avocado and chipotle sauce). Prices are reasonable, under $12 for most entrees. What's even better is the unlimited mimosas for an extra... More

Evan's Kitchen is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots. There is kind of an oddity with Evan's Kitchen, but this one is good. The breakfast is their real specialty and everything is excellent, The oddity is that almost all great breakfast places fall way short on lunch, however Evan's lunches are really good as well. Any of the Eggs... More

We have been to Evan's Kitchen several times. The food is good, the service warm and friendly, the wine list well-selected and reasonably-priced. Good value, comfortable place, and we will return again and again.

Chef Evan may have produced one of the best breakfasts in town! We were not expecting the food to be so good for a simple breakfast. We are definitely going back to try the dinner menu. The place is laid back, casual, comfortable. A great place to have a great meal.

Had dinner at Evans Kitchen with friends. Great place. Ordered - 2 ordered the chicken fried steak; wife ordered egg plant Parmesan; and I ordered the lasagna - we all really enjoyed our dinners. Home comfort dinners at this place. Excellent service and not expensive. Evan is a great chef!! You have to try it.

I was doing business with a lighting shop in the area and was hungry so asked around where to go. Evan's Kitchen was usually the answer. From the outside with just a few metal type tables to view I thought it must be a type of deli type restaurant. To my surprise when I opened the door I found a... More

We were told by several people and looked at the reviews to confirm that this was a very popular place in Midtown Sacramento to dine. We arrived on a Tuesday morning at around 9:00AM to have breakfast. It is a little hard to find as it is in a small Antique Mall in a neighborhood area. We pulled in and... More
