One of the first great Wine Country establishments, the Michelin rated Restaurant at Auberge du Soleil pays tribute to its legacy with an award-winning menu and wine list. Executive Chef Robert Curry’s inspired cuisine reflects the natural diversity and rich ingredients of California’s Napa Valley and draws from regional produce, accented with Mediterranean flavors. Wine Director Kris Margerum’s wine list, the largest and most extensive in the valley, showcases the very best from neighboring vineyards.

Brunch with style and a view

Brunch is ridiculously good value. Flavorful options, a stylish crowd, outstanding service and they treated this solo diner like a queen. Beware the valet - those guys will give you palpitations with how they manoever your car around the assembled luxury rides. Only downside to being a diner who... read more

I really hated to write this review. We have eaten at Auberge before and everything has been excellent. This time however, the service was very poor for a restaurant of this caliber. The food was still wonderful, but it took quite a while for our waiter to take our drink order after we were seated, and then later to return... More

Beware the valet - those guys will give you palpitations with how they manoever your car around the assembled luxury rides. My wife and I visited Auberge a couple weeks ago for Sunday Brunch while on a long weekend getaway in Calistoga. Weekend brunch is a prix-fixe menu with a considerable price tag. I'd heard it was worth the splurge to go for the incredible view of Napa Valley. Not only was the view truly spectacular, but our food left us... More

Terrific views, excellent if somewhat superficial and shallow service. Food very ordinary and incompatible with a Michelin star rating (as experienced in Europe at any rate). This attempt at fine dining is passé; an excess of fuss and a deficit of substance. Main courses particularly disappointing

My friend and I were in San Francisco SPECIFICALLY to celebrate her 50th birthday. She is a wine lover, so with only 3 days, we chose to spend one full day in Napa. I booked a private car and planned a special day. The restaurant at Auberge du Soleil came highly recommended, and a table with a view was reserved.... More

The views from the back deck are breathtaking! The service impeccable and the food - simply delicious. I had the shrimp in butter lettuce cups, seared tun entree and for dessert- freshly made mint ice cream with chocolates. Of course the wine list has most of the favorites from the Napa area. I can't wait to visit Napa again and... More

We enjoyed sitting on the big shady terrace, overlooking the valley on a hot summer day and being pampered with outstanding food. A small fish appetizer and a white corn soup were both outstanding starters, followed by ricotta-filled ravioli and tomato risotto with shrimp pieces - wow! We couldn't resist to try at least one dessert, and chose the almond... More

If you can't get a reservation at their restaurant, as we would not, go for a drink before sunset and have the wings or a burger in their cafe. The view is great and at sunset is best.

Yes, it's very pricey, but it's earned the right. The quality of the food, service and atmosphere warrants the cost. Do like I did and go for a long, luxurious lunch to save yourself a few bucks while enjoying the same food you'd eat a few hours later for dinner. Get a table on the deck and enjoy the expansive... For normal folks (the kind who have to balance their checkbooks every so often), this is the kind of restaurant you go to for very special occasions - like your 32nd wedding anniversary. That's why my wife and I were recently there, and we loved almost everything about it - the view, the service, the food - with the exception... More
