Great Thai Foods

Been around for long time. This place is still offering good Thai foods in modern presentations. Try their spicy noodles and cat fish.

With Hollywood only about 30 miles away, but needing an hour and a half because of traffic, we decided to make a pit stop randomly. I searched for a nearby Thai restaurant and stumbled upon this gem. What a place. Very accommodating, I had been travelling up and down the coast for a week and was coming from La Jolla.... More

This place has gotten so good. I used to go here on a regular basis about 6+ years ago then stopped once Coconut Bay opened. Lately, I've found myself coming back to Banana Bay more often. You can't beat the vibe and the live music. The food has also improved. Some of my favorites include: Crying Tiger and Moo Yang.... More

The food was pretty good, but the service wasn't that great. Made things overly complicated and they get mad at you for reminding them to bring you a refill.

The food here is just YUMMY! Authentic Thai food according to hubby (he's born and raised in Thailand). Most dishes are less than $10. Portion generous. I especially like the Thai Boat Noodle (could be spicy), Crying Pig (pork) or Crying Tiger (beef), King Noodle (seafood). Good service. The waiters/waitresses are practically running around all the times. And there's this... More

Food is good, portions are decent. In a side room with a private party, service was a bit slow. No bartender on duty, saved money that way! Varied menu! Been craving it ever since!

Loved the food at Banana Bay. The salted fish fried rice was lovely as was their Tom Yam Soup and the thai crispy fish with sweet sauce. There's a great band that plays here, the female vocalist is brilliant.

This place can get quite crowded during dinner to late dinner times. This place is open fairly late, and that's a good thing. The food and ambiance is what draws people to this place. If you're into Thai food, you've come to the right place. Everything from their soups, to noodle dishes, to their ice coffee/tea is awesome! The only... More

It's kind of a hit and miss restaurant as we were impressed the first time we visited this place on one saturday evening. However, upon the following visits where we had to wait due to long lines - was not worth the wait. The food was just blah and unimpressive. Especially with the loud band with a female singer that...
