Slice of Goodness is just off Interstate 80 at Douglas Blvd. They specialize in homemade pies which are the best I have ever eaten. If you are heading up to Tahoe for a family get together, call ahead and order pies to take to your vacation condo for dessert. You and your guests will not be disappointed. I recommend the... More

A wonderful little out of the way restaurant that serves incredible made on the premises soups, sandwiches and amazing pies. I was visiting a friend in Roseville who raved about the food here and when we finally visited, I was blown away with the fresh, delicious healthy lunch. The service was great, a family member who, even though he was... More

My colleagues introduced me to A Slice of Goodness two years ago and it is delicious! A family-owned eatablishment, the food and pies are made fresh daily. They offer a variety of sandwiches, soup of the day and have a great selection of pies. Open only for lunch during the weekday, and with seating for about 50, make sure to... More

I love getting lunch at Slice of Goodness. A healthy sandwich followed by a piece of homemade pie can't be beat. Try the applesauce on the side instead of the potato salad. It is homemade also and is wonderful.

Terrific breakfast of Denver Scramble with fresh fruit. Made with large chunks of REAL ham, not the usual mystery meet guck. Was surprised to not see omelets, hash browns, pancakes on the menu, and the owner explained that he is really into fresh healthy food without grease. You will like it a lot.

In six words or less, "The Pie crust is to die for!" I just had the most flavorful, beautiful Rhubarb Pie I have ever had in my life. Yummm. Thanks!

A Slice of Goodness is suppose to have great pies. Well I had my first slice today. I ordered a slice of coconut cream pie and got the tiniest slice of pie for $5.95+tax. The pie is good...but not certainly not $5.95 good. There are much better places for pie and much better pie. My advice...go someplace else for pie.... More

The best pies...OMG!!! Sandwich/Pie combo is a must. Sometimes it's very crowded at the lunch hour - but worth it to squeeze into that tiny dining room for that pie...YUMMY!

I go here for the homemade pies, applesauce and quiches. They are only open for lunch M-F, but they are one of the last true mom-n-pop places left in Roseville. Their sandwiches are nothing special, just what your mom would make you at home (regular sliced bread and typical fillings). BUT my favorite thing to do is get a half... More
