The menu at Paul Martin’s consists of dishes aimed at taking diners back to the American farm with meat raised in a humane and wholesome way, locally sourced organic produce, fish from conscientious fishmongers, artisan cheeses and cured meats from small local purveyors and custom-made bread from expert bakers. The California-centric wine list twists and turns, by glass or bottle, through the Golden State’s fruitful vineyards, with an occasional stop for an Oregon Pinot Gris or a Washington dry Riesling. And behind Paul Martin’s elegantly rustic bar is an interesting array of local craft beer and spirited cocktails with fresh garnishes. Good times and thoughtful food are a way of life at Paul Martin’s local, American Bistro.

Delicious!

Visited the restaurant with co-workers for luncheon. I ordered the salmon sandwich. I wasn't expecting it to taste so good, but it was surprisingly good. I think the bun which is made fresh everyday made the sandwich. The atmosphere and service was great! I'll definitely try them for dinner. It's... read more

When I made our reservation I was asked if this was a special occasion;. I said it was, our 48th anniversary. my wife had salmon and I short rib (not "ribs"). A little taken aback because hardly any wines by the glass less than ten dollars. Menu said "a generous pour of seven ounces." Nothing very generous about seven ounces.... More

Great food and service. I have been here on business lunches and for dinner. Have never been disappointed in the food however I like it a little quieter but all in all I would recommend this resturant.

Met a friend for happy hour, on a friday ! Kudos for keeping happy hour going at weekend ! appetizers were good and substantial . Medium quality wines, some local, yeah, at reasonable prices. Wait staff very good, very nice atmosphere. Great place to meet friends but plenty of cozy corners for a romantic dinner. We will definitely return.

I went to this restaurant on a date and loved the ambiance. It was dark and cozy. It was a bit loud so I felt like I was yelling at my date but the food was good. I had the steak and potatoes and the steak was cooked perfectly. I also had the pear crisp which was also really good.... More

Just a great local spot. Location is good, doesn't look like much from the street, but inside is warm, inviting and upscale. Terrific menu which changes seasonally to reflect whats good and whats fresh. The other nice thing about PMAB is that the menu is structured so that you can go in and have a inexpensive, good meal, or you... More

October 6th, 2014 my wife and I had diner here. The service was very good and our meals were very good and the pricing is very fair for the high quality of restaurant this is. We will look forward to our return for another enjoyable experience.

We have come to really enjoy this place. We have eaten there many times for lunch, brunch, anddinner. I also hosted my wife's 40th birthday there. They did and absolute fabulous job with the party. I could not have been more pleased. The place is always lively any night of the week. The food is well prepared and tasty. I... More

We had not visited Paul Martin's in several months, but when friends suggested we meet there, we welcomed the chance to revisit our former familiar haunt. As in previous times, we found the food excellent, the service attentive and polished (our server was Chad, assisted ably by several others). For preliminaries, we had salads and soup that reflected summer's best... More

The indoor bar is upscale urban; the decor too. Food is tasty, especially small plate items. Nice wine selection
