Description: The menu at Paul Martin’s consists of dishes aimed at taking diners back to the American farm with meat raised in a humane and wholesome way, locally sourced organic produce, fish from conscientious fishmongers, artisan cheeses and cured meats from small local purveyors and custom-made bread from expert bakers. The California-centric wine list twists and turns, by glass or bottle, through the Golden State’s fruitful vineyards, with an occasional stop for an Oregon Pinot Gris or a Washington dry Riesling. And behind Paul Martin’s elegantly rustic bar is an interesting array of local craft beer and spirited cocktails with fresh garnishes. Good times and thoughtful food are a way of life at Paul Martin’s local, American Bistro.

Imagine my surprise when the chef not only wouldn't let me taste his soups, on my birthday, before I paid $8 a bowl at lunch, when I asked for half a bowl each, for $8, he said NO. The Chef at The Kitchen sent me and my husband a bowl of soup on him, because he felt bad that they... More

We loved Paul Martins when it first opened and for a year or two after. The last few times have been disappointing. We wait 6 mos and try again hoping it was just an off night. We went this last week for our anniversary. The dinners we ordered-brick chicken and short ribs, just were not that good. And the not... More

Went to celebrate the end of the school year and a send-off for one of our colleagues. Excellent service, great variety of foods available. Reasonable prices for high quality food. Glad we made a reservation-even for lunch. Restaurant was quite busy.

My husband decided to take me out for supper since we have barely been out for 3 months since our son was born. Needless to say I was very excited!! After looking at the menu online I could not wait to eat the food. I ordered the bistro burger medium well. When it came out it was still very pink... More

We had eaten here a couple of times in the past and enjoyed their prime rib dinner. A few weeks ago we went there again after church and told the greeter that we wanted the prime rib dinner. We were told that the prime rib dinner was not served until 2 PM. We were hungry so we dined somewhere else.... More

I waited more than 45 minutes for a booked reservation, and left without being seated, the bacon salad is very good, but not worth the long wait, especially with a large gang waiting at the door also,,,,I think they overbook,,,,but just like the airlines it sucks if you have to wait on the tarmat after you board

Paul Martin’s American Bistro is the project of restaurateur Paul Martin Fleming, founder of PF Chang’s, Pei Wei Asian Diner, and Fleming’s Steakhouse. The theme for this establishment is “Eat organic. Believe in sustainable. Buy local. Love fresh.” I have had this on my list of places to eat since it opened in October. And that day finally came last... More
