Description: The menu at Paul Martin’s consists of dishes aimed at taking diners back to the American farm with meat raised in a humane and wholesome way, locally sourced organic produce, fish from conscientious fishmongers, artisan cheeses and cured meats from small local purveyors and custom-made bread from expert bakers. The California-centric wine list twists and turns, by glass or bottle, through the Golden State’s fruitful vineyards, with an occasional stop for an Oregon Pinot Gris or a Washington dry Riesling. And behind Paul Martin’s elegantly rustic bar is an interesting array of local craft beer and spirited cocktails with fresh garnishes. Good times and thoughtful food are a way of life at Paul Martin’s local, American Bistro.

We held my sons rehearsal dinner here and the staff was outstanding and very accomodating. They had a separate room set up for us and a special menu. Our guests were all very pleased with their meals and so were we. I am a little biased because my son works here but the food was wonderful and not the only... More

We have eaten at Paul Martin's four times. The service has always been fabulous; the servers and friendly and helpful with entree selections. Although we have found the menu to be limited, we have enjoyed every entree and appetizer we ever ordered!

While the food and service good, the prices of their wines are outrageous. I pointed that out to the server and was advised that the restaurant serves a generous" 7 oz. pour. We had the house chardonnay ay $14/glass...about the cheapest on the wine list. I inquired who's wine it was, I was told it was Wente. An entire bottle... More

I cannot believe I have not reviewed PM's before now. This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. The reason we eat here is the consistency of good food that is sourced as local as possible and believers in farm to fork before it was a popular fad. We always receive excellent service, good recommendations and tasty wine. Their... More

We've been going to this restaurant since it opened years ago, but just made our last visit. Issues began about a year ago and tonight was the last straw. We had our favorite spinach dip which this time was 95% spinach and 5% cheese; the spinach was very tough and had that over-cooked taste and the cheese was runny with... More

I'm at Paul Martins often - at least a couple of times a month. So, I'm a believer. It's changed some over the years and there are some aspects that I miss, but overall, the food is ALWAYS consistently fresh and well prepared, the customer service attentive, the drinks delicious. We were there for brunch yesterday, and there was a... More

Our first time at Paul Martin's and we enjoyed it. The Sunday special was a "three course" prime rib with organic salad as the first and ice cream as the last. My wife had the cedar plank salmon. The salmon (wild Columbia River) was excellent. The prime rib was good and a very generous portion. I had an end cut,... More

We have tried Paul Martin's over and over yet continue to be unimpressed with the product. The appetizers and drinks are worth a visit.

The polenta with mushrooms was excellent as well as the prime rib - done to perfection (and I rarely use the word "perfection"). The style of the polenta was exactly the way I like - holds its shape but isn't tough or difficult to slice through. This one was soft - no knife necessary. Other restaurants I've come across totally... More

Went here with a co-worker while traveling on business. I would consider this a special occasion restaurant, and was a bit surprised when I saw a family with two kids leaving while we were being seated. My co-worker got the Butcher Board and salad, while I went with the blackened Rib-eye Steak. The steak was much bigger than I was... More
