Description: The menu at Paul Martin’s consists of dishes aimed at taking diners back...
The menu at Paul Martin’s consists of dishes aimed at taking diners back to the American farm with meat raised in a humane and wholesome way, locally sourced organic produce, fish from conscientious fishmongers, artisan cheeses and cured meats from small local purveyors and custom-made bread from expert bakers. The California-centric wine list twists and turns, by glass or bottle, through the Golden State’s fruitful vineyards, with an occasional stop for an Oregon Pinot Gris or a Washington dry Riesling. And behind Paul Martin’s elegantly rustic bar is an interesting array of local craft beer and spirited cocktails with fresh garnishes. Good times and thoughtful food are a way of life at Paul Martin’s local, American Bistro.

The food at Paul Martin's is excellent. It was very tasty and wll-prepare. The service was excellent, and the setting was extravagant. Paul Martin's is fine dining at it's best.

We have been to Paul Martins on three occasions. Each time we have been impressed with the food and the choices on the menu. The wine selection is excellent and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful in making recommendations. We were very pleased when we sat outside. A pleasant and enjoyable evening. We will visit again.

Had a dinner reservation for 8 and we got sat at 830. The service was good but the food was not. Used to be classier with filets and such. We ordered burgers and salad and could of got better ones at bjs or red robin.

What's good? The food? No. Salmon tacos were small with very little salmon. French dip was average at best short ribs, the same. The prices? Oh, no. You are paying top dollar for average food. The service? Out waiter last night was slow and indifferent, but faked it well enough when at our table. Wait for the wine, wait for... More

This is a really nice place to have dinner or lunch. It is pricey but the chef is very good. The wine list is nice as well. We meet here with friends for dinner and/or business associates if our leadership is in town. Everyone has always enjoyed their meals and the service. It is pricey so it's best to check... More

We recently had dinner with 3 other couples to take advantage of the Wine and Dinner for 2 on Monday night. We were pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of the salad and the entrees. My husband and I both had salmon dishes (salmon plank and grilled salmon). Others at our table enjoyed the chicken and the chimichurri steak.... More

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Paul Martin's in mid-December and took advantage of the Monday Wine & Dinner for 2, a weekly special, $49; and it includes a BOTTLE of wine from a selection of 25 on the menu (including a bubbly!). I encourage all readers to take advantage of this truly special, uh, special. My bride had the... More

When I made our reservation I was asked if this was a special occasion;. I said it was, our 48th anniversary. my wife had salmon and I short rib (not "ribs"). A little taken aback because hardly any wines by the glass less than ten dollars. Menu said "a generous pour of seven ounces." Nothing very generous about seven ounces.... More

Visited the restaurant with co-workers for luncheon. I ordered the salmon sandwich. I wasn't expecting it to taste so good, but it was surprisingly good. I think the bun which is made fresh everyday made the sandwich. The atmosphere and service was great! I'll definitely try them for dinner. It's on the pricey side, but the meals are upscale.
