Good Thai food

Friends took us here for the first time. We were able to design our own dishes like chicken and peppers in peanut sauce. The Pad Thai was excellent as well as the yellow curry with chicken. You can order dishes with any level of spice that you want. Try the /t'hai Iced coffee.

This is a medium size restaurant, often full at lunch time, that is one of my favorites! I go there for Thai comfort food. Its a clean but not pretentious place, and friendly. They make a great traditional Thai basil chicken dish that is hot and spicy and full of great stirfried vegetables, chile, and an egg on top! In... More

I was here with a group of 12. Since I was unfamiliar with Thai Food, I decided to be safe and I ordered a roasted 1/2 chicken. It was so dry, it should not have even been served! Most of the others in the group seemed to like the food, which to me was not eye appealing. The restaurant was... More

I've always favored thai basil for years but then I went for the first time in a while and they gave us rice with a thick black small hair in it! It was taken back and we got another serving with not only 1 hair, but 2!! The manager didn't speak to us very much, he just took it back,... More

Best Thai food in Roseville. We go here about every other month. Soup with coconut milk is our staple. The black rice dessert is a favorite.

Its is quite funky but obviously loved by its owners. The food was very good and well spiced. The service was quite good for this somewhat unassuming location.

Maybe I have been spoiled by living in Toronto, or by the awesome Thai food I had in Auburn on Thursday. I ordered green curry - and what I got had the strangest green colour - something like Emerald City in the Wizard of Oz. It was medium spicy but tasteless. The eggplant was not cooked, and neither was the... More

Spent a casual evening dining with a friend in this Thai restaurant. The overall atmosphere is very clean, comfortable and relaxing. The food was a bit on the salty side (according to my taste buds) but overall good. The server even made a recommendation on what to eat since I have not been there. I always peek on the back... Located in a non descript location off Douglas Blvd. next to the Office Depot, Thai Basil is one of longer standing restaurants in Roseville, CA, going back to when there where not a lot of quality restaurants to choose from. Thai Basil has survived the recession and seems to be prospering which should say a lot about the food and... More
