I've always enjoyed Cattleman's restaurant on any given day but was more than a little worried about the service and the food of ANY restaurant on a big day like Father's Day. So I made reservations and tried to select a time that was a bit earlier than many would choose and then I crossed my fingers. What a great... More

Strange this place was not listed on Tripadvisor. I've been here several times. My wife likes the ribeye and I like the fried shrimp. Only problem with the main courses is the salad, bread, and Tumbkeweed Onion thing. So much good food it's hard to eat everything. The service is excellent as well. We will definitely go back here again

We really enjoy Cattleman's. This restaurant is one of our favorites. The service is excellent and the food is consistent. We always eat here at least one night when we are in the area.

We've been here before, quite a few times over the last few years, and since our last reviewed visit (February 2012) the food seems to have taken a decidedly unfriendly direction. I had the ground sirloin dinner (The Chopper, $14.99), which is supposed to be a half pound meat patty. Ordered it medium and it came pretty raw, guess it... More

Cattlemen's $1 ribs on Monday Night Football cannot be beat! The beef ribs are huge, tasty, and have a perfect amount of bbq flavor. Very addictive!

We always go to Cattlemen's when we want a good steak. I love their blue cheese dressing which is tangy and full of blue cheese. Great baked potatoes which you can get loaded with cheese and bacon in addition to butter and sour cream! I'm always too full for desert but they are awesome and loaded with calories! It is... More

My wife and I frequently make the drive from Yuba City to Roseville to enjoy a fine meal in an excellent establishment (Cattlemen's). The prime rib and filet mignon are as good as I have eaten anywhere. It is always worth the trip to get a great meal at a fair price.

This restaurant has one of my all-time favorite meals: Beef Back Ribs (full-rack, of course!), salad accompanied by one of the best blue cheese dressings I've ever tasted, artichoke cheese dip (YUM), and to top it all off, chewy, crusty, fresh-from-the-oven sourdough bread. Oh my goodness...delicious! Overall, consistently solid; service is always superior.

I have always been a fan of Cattlemen; but, they are far from what they used to be 10 years ago and I am afan no longer. The steaks are decent, but nothing to write home about, especially for the price. Too many other restaurants out there, that leave a lasting impression, to return to this mediocre steak house.

Love the steaks and potatos and service. All reasonably priced. I wouldn't try the 48oz supersteak unless you are really hungry. Brad
