Good food, service and atmosphere

We eat at this Cattlemen's periodically. We have always had good service and that may be in part because the servers we have asked have said it is a good place to work. Happy servers=good service. The food is consistently good and we like the rustic atmosphere. Can get loud, especially in the... read more

when I was in Roseville ca. on business the last night I had dinner at cattleman's the service was excellent, I had BBQ beef back ribs with plenty of food to take home. I saw an item on the menu I had never had before it was chipotle flavored corn it is a special item only during the summer season... More

I have not eaten at Cattlemens in many years and frankly it was a nice surprise. The ambiance is rustic, they have lots of booths and so it is not as noisy as many big places. Meat was cooked the way we asked. All the salad you want. So, not fancy, good value for your dollar and the staff were... More

Poor quality food. I had the Prime Rib med rare and it had no juice at all not a drop. Completely dried out. Last time we went there the steak I ordered was beef but it was a low quality. I would say it is time to just drive by.

Seriously, melt in your mouth steak, great specials and drinks... the only down was the grumpy waitress in the bar area but as far as the food goes, wonderful.

The food was good, the prices were reasonable, and wait staff was attentive and friendly. We had a large group, but they handled it well.

Had a Family Dinner here with seven cousins. Among the party we had steaks, fish, and prime rib. All of which were reported to be properly prepared, tasty, and the sides were excellent, too. Good drinks; wine, beer, mixed, and soda. The staff was attentive and also very good at describing preparations so that we got what we wanted. This... More

I love this place. There is so much food we always bring leftovers home. It's all you can eat salad and they will even bring you extra salad and extra bread to take home. My friend always gets the 32oz porterhouse steak and its huge. I usually get the Cowboy. The bbq ribs for 2 dollars are so worth it.... More

We went for a wedding reception dinner. They were extremely busy and a bartender had called in sick. The staff did excellent under the circumstances. Very pleasant service. The food was amazing. We split a rib eye and ordered sides of crab and salads. Sample appetizers were very good. The only big complaint I have is the bar recipes. The... More
