We moved from socal to Roseville and were worried about finding neat places to eat. We actually were excited when we found this place and gave it two tries. The first was so-so and this last one was awfull. The food was ok, not great but not bad. I had salmon which was fine, husbands steak was way overcooked. The... More

We visited friends in Roseville over the weekend, and had never been to a Johnny Garlic's before. Four of us sat in the bar area, and the service was second to none. Our waters were always full, and within seconds of our drinks being finished our bartender/waiter was there for a second order. We had flatbread pizza (delicious), Sliders (awesome),... More

Last night we went to Johnny Garlic’s for dinner with friends to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant is fairly new but the atmosphere was very nice and the people very friendly. I had the 1933 OG Mai Tai from the Kraft Kocktail menu and it was very unique and delicious, and I usually do not rave about cocktails. We started... More

I have been to this location a few times and the food and service have always been pretty good. This time I had the Valcano Chicken... which is great if you like a little spicy. My friend had a burger that had bacon, cheese, onion straws... on a pretzle bun. She said it was one of the best she's ever... More

It was good, but not what I expected. I had dinner here with 3 business associates, and there were mixed reviews on our meals. Initially, we decided to go here because two of us wanted a nice big salad for dinner, and we were not disappointed. We both got the Greek salad (I had mine with grilled shrimp), and the... More

The menu is unique. It's got a great selection and something for everyone including wild game. Lunch portions are huge! Service was friendly but slow.

Guy has opened several of these but I am not sure the food is worth the price. Loud with the bar crowd which certainly were having a great time. Food was good but not great.

You would expect nothing else that unusual menu items at a restaurant owned by Guy Fieri of TV fame. It is a small chain, but they said he stops by a few times each year. The special was alligator jambalaya, with lightly breaded chunks of alligator, along with other traditional jambalaya sauce and lots of jalapenos, but no chicken or... More

creative menu. good wine list. over priced. Nothing intimate about the restaurant. Don't expect to have a nice quiet meal because you have to shout at each other.

We had very high hopes and even though I really do not have anything bad to say it just really was not as good as I expected. Service was good other than empty water glasses a few times. My food was very good, but my husbands was not. My son had shrimp and even though they had lots of flavor... More
