Good Chinese Food

My wife, son, and I recently had dinner at Sea Harbour in Rosemead. We took it as a good sign that the overwhelming majority of the diners were Chinese. The service was prompt and the food was very good. My only issue was that it was very cool inside the restaurant and I spent the first half of the... read more

I had not been here in several years well-meaning friends warned me that the food was not as good as it used to be. They were wrong. This is for me still some of the tastiest high end Chinese cuisine in the San Gabriel Valley. We started with very mouth and satisfying hot and sour mixed seafood soup. One order... More

Service is slow and all of the servers were not smiling or happy to be there at all. The food itself was okay, but again the service was terrible and the wait was too long.

I went with friends for dinner who are Chinese nationals. Always good to go to a place like this with Chinese speakers. We had a variety we shared on a big lazy Susan. We had different fish and pigeon. The bird tastes like a cross between a duck and chicken. We also had two types of soup which were delicious.

When you enter, the hostess gives you a number. At 11 am on a Saturday our wait is quick. You just order tea before you sit down! Table of 2 is a 4 person table. Clean and nice restaurant setting. Dim sum is only order from. Menu with pictures. Service is prompt and professional. Wide range of choices on dim... More

We meet some friend there on Sunday at 11:00 am and we had to wait 30 minutes tp get a table, that is how packed this restaurant is. The food was great and reasonable

We have eaten here for both services. If you come for Dim Sum, arrive before 10 ( on weekend) or expect a long wait. Tonight we visited for dinner. Food was outstanding as was service. $20 corkage fee was not unreasonable. Wait staff kept our glasses full as well as our tea cups.

overall this place is really over-rated and over-priced. The dim sums came really slow and the taste was just average. However, the service is excellent.

Despite being assured the wait was 20 mins. it was 45mins. before we got seated, then another 10 mins. before the server came for our order. Thought it would be a snap ordering since their menu had photos of most of the popular dishes. But was rather dismayed when the Jelly-fish Salad they served looked so different from the pix.... Mediocre is a stretch! Visited this week for Dim Sum after reading about it in the LA Time's 101 Review. Friday at 12pm - no line. That's a warning! Most of our food was served cold or barely warm. No carts? Well, food must be precooked and just sitting in the kitchen without the use of the steam carts to... More
