So few restaurants offer a choice of Veal dishes, it was a thrill to find at least four choices, The service was excellent they didn't rush us through the meal, it was relaxed and enjoyable. The variety of Italian food was imaginative and every dish was served well and timely. We enjoyed all four meals. Especially the veal dishes. Drinks... More

The servers were very friendly and fast. Water and soda refills were promptly offered, and bread was immediately refilled. We were very impressed with the service, it was sooooo nice not to have to ask for water/soda/bread refills and wait forever! The restaurant is decorated in a warm Italian decor. Very nice, cozy and comfortable. We ordered the toasted ravioli... More

We had a delicious Father's Day dinner at this old-school Italian restaurant but it's a shame that the service wasn't up to the level of the food. Our party of 8 sampled everything from tasty fried calamari and excellent prime rib to solid seafood choices and side salads. The one problematic offering was the gnocci served in a marinara sauce... Not sure what the bad reviews are really for, some people are just never happy. From the outside the palce doesn't look that special, but the inside is decoated nicely. I had the Veal Marsala and it was very good and the prices are fine here. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I asked the waiter... More

Rubino's can be found in Rocklin not far from Sacramento. The service is absolutely second to none. The restaurant offers a cozy setting with an old-style Italian decor. It is a perfect place to be on a special occasion, and it offers a good selection of Italian/American cuisine. I highly recommend the chicken Marsala. The food is fantastic.

We went to Rubino's for the first time last week and the food was delicious. I had the Chicken Marsala and my husband had a pasta dish. We both thought the menu, food and service was very nice. It's hard to find a good Italian restaurant in Rocklin so we will return.

Yes, I am it again. I'm always looking for a light and fluffy gnocchi. Rubinos hit the mark with a very delicate and delicious tasting marinara sauce smothering the gently soft gnocchi. We did try a deep fried risotto which was absolutely wonderful. Fried Risotto - Rubino’s signature risotto fried to perfection and served in a tomato cream sauce We... More

Had a coupon for $30 and never found time to use it. Finally my wife and I went and had a wonderful meal, excellent service at reasonable prices for the entire menu. Definitely will go back for more. I had Sweetbreads which are hard to find on most menus. Done perfectly.

We visited Rubino'sfor the first time for a late lunch. We were pleased with the variety of the menu, and also enjoyed the selection of wine and the offering of Loomis Basin Brewery beer. (Be aware, they bring it in a 22 oz. bottle...it's a big one!) We enjoyed the atmosphere, with the decor being pleasant and welcoming, and the... More

We've been to Rubinos twice. The first trip featured marvelous appetizers and a superbly done Ceasar's salad. Our two entrees were fine and the service throughout the dinner was very good. Based on our experience we definetely wanted to return. We did, and the second visit was pretty much terrible. We ordered the promotional special of Spaghetti Bolognese for four,... More
