Nice dining atmosphere

I have been here several times and have always enjoyed the tapas such as calamares frito, kalamata olive baked bread with aioli and tomato sauce, patata brava, queso fundido, gambas al ajillo, abondigas de jerez and a pitcher of sangria. One day I will try the pealla. The service has always been... read more

Not particularly authentic Spanish food. Patatas bravas should not be smothered in tomato paste. Paella should be cooked with saffron and the rice should have some firmness, not be all mushy. The mark-up of the food is also atrocious: I can make an entire tortilla española for $5 and they charge $20? My Spanish grandmother would be so sad that... More

Ate in the upstairs area on a Saturday night. Cozy, dimly lit and just the right noise level. Very attentive service. Ordered a selection of tapas - sea bass, cheese empanadas, sausage paella, and fresh baked bread. They even brought us complimentary meatballs. Everything was delicious. I ordered their special cava sangria and was underwhelmed, and the wine list was... More

Went there for a Christmas Brunch at 4pm. There were 16 of us. We were initially assigned to the second floor area. The elevator was not functioning. Because one of our party was elderly and would have a hard time negotiating the steep stairs, they made arrangements to have us on the first floor quite near the buffet stations. Price... More

First of all, if you are going to the Mission Inn for the Festival of Lights, this is a great restaurant to start the night. It is close enough to walk to the Mission, but far enough away from the crowds and noise. The restaurant is beautiful-like a mini trip to Spain. The tapas are tasty. I highly recommend the... More

I have enjoyed tapas all over Spain, and the tapas at this restaurant rival those. My favorite were the spicy octopus ceviche, the dates stuffed with bleu cheese and bacon, the beef empanadas( which were made with puff pastry), and the short ribs in Rioja wine which melted in my mouth. The house Sangria was a perfect accompaniment. You have... More

We enjoyed a nice imported wine and a bevy of tasty tapas here on a quiet week night. The atmosphere was pleasant and the food pretty good. The service was great. I understand they have a pretty good Sunday brunch too, which I may attend next time I pass through town. They ofer vegan and gluten-free options. All-in-all a very... More

We enjoy the happy hour, drinks and tapas are discounted, we have a great meal of a variety of 5 or 6 tapas and drinks for about $60 for 2. I like the sangria, red or white and my wife likes the mojitos. Try the fondue with sausage, it is GOOD and filling.

My husband and I come here for their Sunday brunch. He says it is the best Riverside has to offer (to be fair, we have not tried anything at the Mission Inn) But for the price, I am sure he is correct. The food is very good and has lots of offerings. The service is above par for any buffet,... More

This is the most flavorful food around! You will not be disappointed with the food or the service. Great atmosphere and Sangria!
