Located at the famous Mission Inn, it is very nice eating outside even in Southern California winters. The atmoshere is fabulous. They have giant margaritas, many varieties. Meals in and around the Mission Inn are generally priced on the higher end, but there is a deal: 'The Combination' includes 1 taco, 1 enchilada, rice & beans (or you can switch... More

We love this place! the ambiance is worth the trip and every penny. Can be a beautiful romantic atmosphere or a great place to meet up with friends. Food is lovely, but not typical Mexican. This is Mexican with a bit of flare! Once you finish dining, relax and take a stroll around the beautiful Mission Inn and downtown.

Lovely resturant to sit out on the patio right before sunset during Christmas holiday. Magical dinning experience to witness the switch of holiday lights luminate the entrance to the Mission Inn. The margaritas are tasty and the food is satisfying. Service has always been good. This place stands out for the location first.

Located in the main courtyard of the Historic Mission Inn, this place offers a dining environment that is second to none. The service gets an A+ and the delicious food rates at least an A-. You are sure to remember your dining experience at this excellent establishment!

We went to Las Campanas for a late lunch. Food and service were good. Great margaritas! We liked the dining atmosphere and hearing the Mission bells ring, which is why we are rating four stars....otherwise three star based on food and service. This time of year to dine at this restaurant is great because you can see the Christmas lights.... More

As others point out Las Campanas is located in the entry courtyard of the Mission Inn in Riverside California. The location is worth the visit itself; while most have an image of Riverside as a rough, dirty and run down inland empire community, the city center around the Mission Inn is very impressive with plenty of old history and character.... This restaurant is located within a courtyard of Riverside's historic Mission Inn. We've been here on several occasions; our latest experience was less than bueno. The atmosphere is wonderful -- though it can be very cold in the Inland Empire; since you're sitting outdoors in December you need to dress warmly and request to sit by one or more of... More

We joined the diners on the patio with full knowledge that this restaurant was probably more upscale than we could afford. But we thought it would be nice to try a restaurant a cut above the usual Riverside fare. My partner ordered the vegetarian fajitas and I the vegetarian Las Campanas Tostada Grande (bean and grilled veggie tostada, served in... More

The food is good Baja style food. Like you would find in Cabo. The margaritas are fantastic. The location is a beautiful out door setting.

This is a very nice upscale Mexican restaurant. The margaritas are particularly good. The service is excellent, and the outdoor environment has a great mix of fountains, traditional rod iron/tiled tables and chairs, mixed with the renovated facade of the Mission Inn. The food is generally very good, with my particular favorite being the grilled fish tacos. The table side... More
