Decent dinner destination

This is tucked away as part of the Mission Inn Hotel, so I missed it the first couple times I visited the area. I made sure the next time I’d be here that this would be a place I’d be checking out. This is an outdoor venue, and there’s many trees covered in lights to brighten the area. Most of... read more

Just Average food... but the venue is very nice. Great place right out front and part of the Mission Inn. Having a Margarita in this setting is very enjoyable. And then there is the just average mexican food.

We have visited Las Campanas restaurant in the Mission Inn many times. However. the last time we dined there, the food was tasteless and definitely different that what we had previously enjoyed. We questioned the waitress who admitted that the kitchen had been told to make the food more bland in order to address complaints that it was too spicy.... More

We were looking for a late night dinner while we were staying at the Mission Inn and decided to eat at Las Campanas which is located directly in front of the hotel. It was outdoor seating under thousands of tiny white lights that covered the palm trees. The service was excellent as our hostess made our guacamole table side. It... More

We went to this restaurant and it was excellent! The open courtyard patio was closed because of the rain so they seated us outside of the Presidents lounge. The hotel is so beautiful and makes for nice ambience. We had calamari with a delicious chilpotle mayo, chicken enchiladas, and shrimp fajitas. I had the "Mission Inn Perfect Margarita" and it... Had a little trouble getting into this place - pretty strange since most of the tables were empty. Seemed that the hostess was a little overwhelmed or undertrained. Once seated, our server was very helpful. We ordered margaritas and tableside guacamole to start. Both were very good. Fish tacos were okay - not the best ever, but a good average.... More

They claim to serve real Mexican food. Food is bland and nothing authentic in any plate they have. Atmosphere is nice but food is terrible and over priced!

It is a tradition for all 6 of us to meet at Las Campanas before we head over to the FOX theatre for a show. The wait staff are always friendly attentive and get the, at times complex, orders correct. We all get our food at the same time, which frequently does not happen at other restaurants. The margaritas are... More

The setting outside of the historic Mission Inn is magical! It's so charming and the food is great! The sangria and margaritas are so delicious and I love the open faced shrimp quesadilla. The fajitas are very good and the crab enchiladas are yummy. Overall a great dining experience!

This restaurant is right in the heart of the historic Mission Inn. Dining on the outdoor patio provides a magical experience on a warm fall evening. My chicken enchiladas were delicious and my friend said that her chili rellenos were heavenly. The service was excellent! I often recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting downtown Riverside, CA.
