Unfortunately, this restaurant just can't get it together as far as food and service - both are very inconsistent. We ate here this week and three out of four meals were not very good. The other meal was OK. Margaritas either come out too sweet or have too much alcohol but never right. Our server was not especially competent. The... More

This place has so much potential. Beautiful atmosphere and friendly waitstaff. The food was just barely edible - just barely. I expect much more at that price point. A disappointment. The tortillas were not made in-house (or even fresh - they were mass produced.) The seasoning was lacking.

Our names all begin with a "T" and we get together often to enjoy a night out, and we selected to have a lovely Christmas dinner on the patio at Las Campanas. I love the chile relleno dish, they make it with more than one cheese, and it goes very well with the best Margarita on the rocks! It seems... More

I've eaten at Las Campanas a few times over the years, and have never been wowed by the food, but the last time I was there - it was truly bad. I had the crispy tacos with marinated beef, and it tasted like the shredded beef had been doused in marinara sauce. My friend had carnitas, and the pork was... More

Every dish was about $5 more than you would normally pay in a Mexican restaurant. However, the ambience is worth the higher prices. All three of us had a delicious meal, all ordered different dishes.

Had dinner here the day before Christmas. Mom's food was not good but in the spirit of Christmas we just went with it. I contacted restaurant manager a few days later and he was no help. I did not want bill erased just a coupon or credit for future visit with my Mom for her dinner. Contacted Food & Beverage... More

Located at the historic Mission Inn.The food here is delicious and the setting is perfect. If you want an upscale yet still casual al fresco dining experience this is perfect. Great for a date or night out with friends. You can walk off your meal with a stroll through the hotel lobby or along the pedestrian walk away in downtown... More

The food was great. The service was good and the atmosphere was lovely but it is VERY expensive in my opinion.

Every six months or so I end up at Las Campanas. This is a step ahead of El Torito for sure. The food is always good, but rarely excellent. The ambiance is typically pleasant, with a caveat - if you have out-of-town guests who are less than adventuresome, don't let them look up in the evening or they might find... More
