I've been going here for over 25 years. I was born and raised in Riverside and their food has always been delicious and not pricey. Even after the original owners passed away and their children took over, the food and service has been consistently good! Definitely go!

First impression: Entering from the rear - (parking is in the rear) the first thing you pass is the restrooms - and we both noticed a heavy cleaner/disinfectant smell, that was evident all the way toward the front - and we sat way toward the front. We'd seen their website, and watched the local "Inland Empire" critic Allan Borgen in... More

In addition to their excellent authentic Mexican food, the second generation of Medina's (as did their mother and father) employ family who in turn treat their customers like family. Their great service and warm conversation makes you feel like a guest in their home. There is a huge contingent of regular cutomers who travel near and far to eat here... More

Family run small restaurant. Very good Mexican food prepared by the owners. Cheerful and friendly. Inexpensive place to join a friend for lunch. Not fancy. An historical landmark.

Zacatecas isn't fancy, but it is good food with good service. The atmosphere is really basic, but if you want basic, good food, this is your place!

Family run & owned, delicious Mexican food! I love the basics here, taco, enchiladas - the chips are warm and so is the dip. It isn't what most restaurants serve, it is a unique blended sauce served warm, you can add more spice if you are up for it. I even saw it on the Huell Howser Show "California Gold"... More

It is a bit difficult to be objective about Zacatecas, as I have such an appreciation for their history. My family and I first ate at their original location many years ago and will always have a fondness for Olga and Luz. It has been many years, though, since we have been back, and although the food was still very... More
