I like everything that I've tried here so far. The service is always great. I like the fact that they serve Horchata, now only if they'd offer some Fresca's.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner. Nobody beats them. Breakfast meets all expectations! Lunch is made at a smaller scale than dinner. Dinner is what you desire when looking for fabulous Mexican cuisine!!

We loved the smoked salsa so much we bought some to go . We asked them to also bring their spicy salsa and it was good too. In fact, the chips and all three salsa's were very good. On this visit my husband and I shared the veggie fajita and we really loved it. Not to greasy like many of... More

We have been to Tortilla Flats on many occasions. We've enjoyed tacos, burritos, Mexican steak and they have a shrimp dish that my husband really enjoys. Would we go again... you betcha. Muy delicioso.

Great chips and Salsa. The hard and soft shell Tacos were terrific. The Cheese Enchilada was stuffed with cheese and the Sauce tasted like it had Sugar added to It could have used a little more Chili Powder but it was good, not great. I had Black Beans and there was no seasoning on them, which I liked. Huge servings.... More

Based on other reviews, my wife and I visited Tortilla Flats for lunch while visiting friends in Rio Vista. This is a rather plain looking restaurant in a small commercial complex with nothing that would immediately attract other than locals. However, the food was great, the prices very reasonable and the portions more than could easily be consumed on the... More

What a nice surprise this was! Tucked away in a tiny strip mall on Hwy 12, the staff is friendly & quick, the interior is decorated cheerfully with murals, paintings, banners, etc. The food was just great. Home-made with wonderful sauces. Definitely recommend it!

Delicious Mexican food served daily with a full authentic menu. Very friendly staff and fast service. Reasonably priced, just off highway 12 in a small town of Rio Vista. Must try!

We visited midday on a Sunday. The restaurant was bustling and friendly. It’s a pretty bare-bones place that looks like a genuine Mamma and Papa Mexican restaurant and we were very encouraged, but the food was surprisingly bland – Mexican food that you’d expect at a church supper in Des Moines. I ordered shrimp enchiladas that came with a sauce... More

Went there for lunch and we were blown away. Chips, Pico, & Salsa was wonderful, very fresh. Server was very entertaining and friendly. The burritos were outstanding and huge so you can take the leftovers home. They heat up very well. Margaritas were the best! Not a fancy place, just a really good Mexican Cafe with wonderful choice of authentic... More
