This was my automatic place to go whenever I think of Fish and Chips. I know it's going to be good. With a cup of clam chowder I'm a happy camper! It helps that the service is nice, fast and pleasant.

Went for lunch, this was probably my fourth or fifth visit, and the lobster roll is always delicious and their coleslaw is nice too. They are always busy and it's always a challenge getting a table. Mother people got various salads and fried fish, shrimp. Good basic foods, not fancy. I go for the food, not the atmosphere. The main... More

I always wanted to have lunch here, finally I went with a friend of mine. The waiting time to place an order is unacceptable! We had to wait outside for a good 15mn til our turn knowing that only 3 people were ahead of us. That was quiet annoying. The fun part is the tasty lobster soup/bisque, quiet yammy served... More

We're regulars here. The lobster and shrimp always taste great. They are super friendly and always welcoming. Our 5 year old loves the off-menu shrimp cocktail. One tip... avoid the 6pm rush when it is often queuing out the door.

Yes, the prices are a bit expensive, but it's genuine, fresh lobster in California!! How could you go wrong? My daughter and I have birthdays that are 8 days apart, in late December, no less! Our new tradition for the past 3 years is to make the 90 minute drive to Redwood City and the Old Port Lobster Shack! We... More

I love Old port Lobster Shack. Fresh lobster, wonderful clam chowder (white - the only kind) a selection of beers and wines, a full variety of items on the menu, friendly faces, fast service. Don't let a long line scare you - it goes quickly and worth the wait. You order at the counter and then seat yourself. Food is... More

Nice place, pleasant employees, great food, but Lobster is too expensive on the West Coast. The decor is very New England based on movies, since I haven't been to NE yet.

If you are looking for New England style seafood, this is the best Bay Area spot. The food is fantastic, but, not cheap by any means. Now the rolls are loaded with lobster, and two will run you $35 with fries. I still have been twice last month, as the food is worth it!

Tried that place twice and we loved the food. Don't miss the lobster , the fish and chips , Maine sandwich and Lowe salad. Finger licking! Highly recommended
