Good

Food is great here. Although this will hit your wallet like a brick through a window. The food is really good and in a weird way worth the price, but only on those "I feel like dropping a dime" kinda of nights.

We absolutely love bringing our family here and bring out of town guests as well. The food is great (try the lobster mac 'n cheese!) and the staff are great. The lobster sandwich is FABULOUS. We love our local little restaurant. :)

I've never been disappointed. The clam chowder, too. At $26 for both, it's not cheap, but the lobster is special, at least around here. Come at noon, expect to wait in line a bit. That said, it is quick and friendly. Picnic tables, inside and out.

I have eaten at Old Port Lobster Shack many times and have never been disappointing in the food. From their lobster rolls, to their clam chowder to their crab and lobster Louis, everything is delicious and fresh. I was also fortunate to be invited to a New Year's Eve party that was catered by them and once again all of... More

This Redwood City venue was the winner of SF's Lobster Roll competition. Definitely worth trying, plus they have great crab, lobster, and other seafood.

Ok it will be obvious right away that the lobster roll is the best, possibly this side of New England. But the lobster bisque, made from the left over shells (yes that is an ingredient in bisque) is divine. You would expect that flavor at a white tablecloth restaurant. If you miss your Friday night fish fry, east coasters and... More

Service is so so, food is okay, but for fast casual chowder it's not bad. The owners have another place in town, a BBQ, and it's actually worse.

Ever had a lobster roll at Red's, or seafood on a wharf in Maine? Miss it because you live in California? Well, get your authentic lobsta' fix here. Nothing fancy, picnic tables and counter ordering with a nice selection of "down east" offerings. We have been to two locations (one in Redwood City and the other in Portola Valley), and... More

Another gem I found on a business trip. I was traveling with a colleague who is from Maine and received the stamp of approval for this place from him. The naked lobster roll was very delicious. Only downside was the price but it is lobster on the West Coast, after all! Give this place a try.

This was my automatic place to go whenever I think of Fish and Chips. I know it's going to be good. With a cup of clam chowder I'm a happy camper! It helps that the service is nice, fast and pleasant.
