Lobster on the peninsula

Old Port Lobster Shack is a great place to get East Coast cold water fresh lobster on the peninsula. The lobster rolls can be quite pricey (about $16.00 each), but you get a good portion of lobster in each roll and you can't beat fresh tasty lobster. The staff is friendly, always welcoming and... read more

I LOVE lobster. This spot, where my Dad and I stopped for lunch after he picked me up from SFO is a soon to be standby favorite for me. Delicious fresh seafood. I had the naked lobster roll (not a mayo fan) and my dad had the classic lobstah roll, but our selections dont even scratch the surface of the... More

Food is good. They really do a good job of getting it out quickly. It's expensive but fresh. Would like to pick up Lobsters next time and bring home! Good service

Visited this unassuming restaurant on 6/2/2015. Place is simple. They use benches to sit on. The excellent lobster-y choices more than made up for its lack of ambience though. I ordered a bowl of their Lobster Bisque ($9.25) which my son and I shared. Best lobster bisque I've had so far! And they were generous with lobster pieces in it.... More

The staff quickly set up a big table for our group of 15 (no reservation). The service was quick and friendly. I loved my lobster roll. Others had lobster melt, brisket, etc. and everyone was happy.

I really enjoyed the traditional Lobster roll and Chowder... so neat to find these great treats in a casual counter service restaurant! The Lobster roll was pure meat... no fillers!

Food is great here. Although this will hit your wallet like a brick through a window. The food is really good and in a weird way worth the price, but only on those "I feel like dropping a dime" kinda of nights.

We absolutely love bringing our family here and bring out of town guests as well. The food is great (try the lobster mac 'n cheese!) and the staff are great. The lobster sandwich is FABULOUS. We love our local little restaurant. :)
