Went with friends to this restaurant which was nestled between Mexican Restaurants. Didn't think there was a parking lot, so it's street parking. A friend ordered the tendon pho and I sorta turned my nose up at that. BUT, when it came, I asked her if I could try a bit. It was very tender, but I didn't think it... More

The food was VERY good, even friends that don't like pho enjoyed it. The portions were big and very well priced. The service was fast, the owner is an intense short woman that may come across a little rude, but it is because she is really focused, so you better be ready to order when she comes to your table.

My husband is into pao soups. I have tried a few, yuk BUT this restaurant has my husband and me hooked. We go at least once a week. He goes for the soup, me the lettuce wraps. I love adding carrot etc, yummy. I have tried the broth from my husbands soup, and I'm picky on taste and flavor, for... More

i try and stop by now and then for lunch and they are always very crowded as the place is small. the owner does a great job of accommodating everyone and is always cheerful and pleasant. I really enjoy their fresh spring rolls and pho and their portions are a bit larger than most of the other pho spots i've... More

We came here on a Friday night. No wait, quick service. I agree with the other reviews - it was pretty middle of the road vietnamese food, but it's local and seems more authentic than some other places we've been to. We'll definitely come back here because we liked the homey atmosphere and how nice the servers were - not... More

Authentically viet pho, not one of the chains (like Pho Dong). Tastes are fresh, some bahn mi is sold, bun and such are good too. Very passible if you've got a craving and are in the neighborhood, or as a working lunch with a slight twist. Will usually fill up just about to the gills at lunch time, it's not... More

I was craving Vietnamese pho - I'd been sick with flu and was back at work, and wanted something homey that would make me feel warm and better....I had only been to the other Vietnamese restaurant on Woodside Road here in Redwood City, and a friend recommended Hometown Noodle - so I decided to give it a try. Although it's... More

Servers were very polite and the service was fast. The food was good and plenty of it. Nothing really stood out but it all blended nicely.

I chose the restaurant as a good place to have a quick meal on my own of a cuisine that is not easy to find at home. It appears to be very much a locals place, small, basic decoration, family run. The location is in a slightly sketchy neighborhood, but on a main well lit road.
