Nice Turkish Eggplant Dish

Eggplant is really nice. Overall a small place with reasonably good Turkish food. Owner said it was his Mothers recepie

Saturday night and this place is closed. Not sure if closed forever or just thus week. I would call before making the trip. Good news is there are many other restaurants in the area

Just tried this last week as part of an ongoing search for a meal that rivals our experiences in Istanbul. New Kapakokia is a good option but probably won't make our regular restaurant "rotation". My wife had an appetizer sampler as an entree and enjoyed all she had. I had the manti (pasta) with a lentil soup. The soup was... More

My colleague and I decided to try New Kapadokia last night and were both glad we did. The flavors were perfect, everything was fresh and tasted amazing. The turkish salad was perfect in the amount of vinegar to bring out the right taste in the cucumber and tomatoes. The kefta was just spicy enough to really offset with the yogurt... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal together. We spent quite a bit of time conversing with the owner and his love for his culture and serving people was very evident. We strongly recommend this restaurant!

Went there to celebrate a birthday and came away with exotic foods from Turkey! The owner allowed us to sample a approx. 6 - 7 dishes along with soup or salad to start. My favorites were the ravoili type dish (to die for) and the House specials. The dishes were NOT spicy and all the meat was tender and scrumptious.... More

That combination is enough for me to like a place. However, the level of attentive service and quality of the food really makes this place stand out. Criticisms - definitely the wine list leaves a lot to be desired. The red on offer was barely palatable and the Turkish wines are overpriced

There aren't too many turkish (instead of arab) restaurants, and New Kapadokia has a family flair. Great tomato dishes, tea with a smile. Don't let them talk you into any of the Turkish wines, they're not worth it. One of my once every two month places; nothing terribly special but solid good eats.

We had Sunday dinner here with our son and daughter-in-law. My wife and I split the Kebab Combo 2 which included lamb chops, kortes, Adana kebab, lamb and chicken shish kebab served with rice and vegetables. The lamb and chicken were very good but the ground beef based items were not as good. We tried the Sobiyet, the Irmik Helvast... More

New Kapadokia is our 31-year-old daughter's favorite restaurant, so last Thursday we thought we would give it a try and took a friend along with us. We asked the owner, Adam, to bring what he thought we would like. He first brought an appetizer sampler with dolmas. None of us thought we liked dolmas, but they were fabulous as were... More
