Last couple times I went the service was bad, over the years I've received bad meals a few times, they're usually pretty average anyway. Nice atmosphere if it's not too loud is the best thing they have going.

Burger and Salad were yummy. Took my teenage daughter and her friend and they loved it too. Sat outside on the patio on a nice sunny day. Service was ok.
This place spills out onto the street, and has a big fireplace inside. The beer selection is the most decent in town, with a couple of good west coast IPAs that are kept fresh. It's really a bar with a very decent kitchen - and very good for lunch. Can get a little loud.
This is a hang out for all ages, you can eat outside, and watch the city go bye. It has good fried zucchini and most of their soups are good, plus very good hamburger, or turkey burgers.
The City Pub is a great place to go with friends for lunch or dinner. They have a great assortment of beers on tap and delicious "pub food".

The food is nice as a pub food - not a gourmet dinner, but there's...

Ten years ago this place was it! Great beer selection and typical bar food…Good atmosphere was even on “school nights”. It was the best bar in Redwood City.
Then, somebody got smarter…maybe wanted to make more money…prices went up, service got worse and they killed it.
I still go over there once a while…pay $15 for a burger and $6...

My wife and I went to City Pub on a Sunday afternoon to relax and have a few minutes of adult conversation. The service was prompt and the food was excellent. The wine selection was a little limited for my wife's tastes but there were many drinkable vintages. We had a pleasant meal with lots of people watching football and...

The meal started out okay, until I picked up one of my fries and found a clump of something that I thought was hair underneath. Not just one, but an entire clump! I called the waiter over and asked, “what's wrong with this picture?” He then explained that it was not hair, but a piece of burlap the potatoes come...
