Superb Russian Cuisine

We enjoyed our meal here in this delightful restaurant. We both had beers. We shared their Seliodka (picked Herring). I had Pelmeny s Myasom, Siberian Dumplings Filled with Beef and Pork. My husband had Kurinaya Pechonka. (chicken liver nest). We both thought the food was superb. It was a... read more

I first visited this restaurant in their older, much smaller location. The owners are charming, but the food has been nothing special for my visits. I would love to enjoy this place, as the family run business is hard to find. I must admit, I'm a vegetarian and this may be much better if you eat meat.

With all of the Russian immigrants working in the tech industry in this area, I have often wondered why there are not more Russian restaurants. We stumbled into this family-owned, neighborhood place after catching a movie at the local theater and we loved it. The décor is Russian red, and pretty spare but the host/owner was friendly. The menu was... More

We have eaten at Russian Family Restaurant several times. Each time the food has been excellent. Everything is so fresh. The soups are delicious, and very unique. Potato Vareniki are delicious, with carmelized onions and sour cream on top. The chicken pelmeny are my 6 year old sons favorite dish - basically chicken raviolis with a little green onion. He... I have never been to Russia so I don't know if this place is authentic. I just know the food is very good. I have been there three times in the past year when I have been in town. I tried something different each time and was never disappointed. Very friendly staff. Clean establishment with reasonable prices.

My wife and I ate there last night she had the Beef Stroganoff which she really liked and I had the Classic Russian soup w/sauerkraut and beef which was so tasty and for my main entree I had the Georgian-style stewed chicken w/herbs, tomatoes & potatoes which was also very good. They also have a good selection of draft beer... More

Super amazing food. If you like the cooking grandma did whether you're Russian, Polish, Italian or Greek you MUST eat here. It's all homemade cooking that will knock your socks off. Not to mention no crappy american beer here. Stop eat and grab a great Czech beer.

First time visit and it exceeded our expectations. Friendly and efficient service. The food was made with fresh ingredients and was authentic. The borscht was great and all of the dishes definitely tasted homemade, as their website proclaims. All food was delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for good Russian food, or to those who haven't tried authentic Russian... More

The meal starts with a tasty green salad which I didn't see mentioned on the menu as part of the entrée. The 200 year old recipe for chicken was tasty, but a little on the dry side, especially as it cooled. It seemed like a way to stretch chicken to feed more people, kind of like meatloaf. I liked the... More
