Modestly-sized and casual. The fish taco was meh, but ceviche was exceptional. A wonderful place to have flavorful morsels of sea food.

We went to La Viga on recommendation and will never be back, thanks to the service. Everything was fine until we found a large metal screw in our ceviche. Luckily nobody had hurt themselves biting into this thing, but it was huge. We alerted the manager who asked if anyone had cracked a tooth on it but otherwise seemed unconcerned.... More

The food was really awesome here. A very interesting and creative menu and was one of the best meals I've had in awhile. We made reservations at 6:15 on a Saturday. They don't have a parking lot and there were a lot of apartments around and we had to park four blocks away. Not the restaurants' fault though! Take your... More

Totally blown away by the food here. Top 3 guacamole I've ever had. A very different, puréed salsa. And amazing shrimp & vege quesadilla. My wife had paella and it rivaled any I've eaten in Spain. Also the fresh guava juice washed it all down so well. Wish I had left room for dessert.

We had heard positive comments about this place and decided to give it a try. The space is on the small side and atmosphere is low key and comfortable. But of course, we are there for the food! Everything we ordered was fresh tasting and delicious. The creative tacos were especially good. The flan and the churros we had for... More

Don't let the facade or the neighborhood fool you. This is one of those treasures that you will want to come back to again and again. We ordered a number of different dishes -- multiples of the fish taco appetizers (to die for) and the roast pork appetizer (really delicious). The ceviche was as good as any we have had... More

Looking at this place from the outside I was a bit skeptical on how it would be. It is not in the nicest section of RWC...but I have to tell you that the food was amazing! What Viga lacks in street appeal more than makes up in culinary delight.

This place is what you may refer to as "hole-in-the-wall". A great find & we keep coming back. Out of the numerous times we've been here, only once did they not have the grilled branzino & it's not the same. So if you like fish gosh, the branzino is a killer! Their quesadilla is also top-notch. Love the restaurant so... More

liked the fish taco appetizers. Had the paella for dinner and enjoyed it, though it was not the traditional Spanish dish, a little more citrusy. Topped if off with flan for dessert, my favorite. Service was attentive.
