This is the place that is for traditional menu, very professional staff, the owner on premises, excellent selection of beverages, a well established menu of sort of italian and french food, very un California dinning. The bread is marginal and does not fallow the menu items. For those that want NO adventure at all, like to be known as romantic,... More

I went to Chantilly for a family birthday which was set up in the wine room. It was so impressive; 3 walls lined with bottles of wine! I chose a scampi appetizer and filet for my main course. both were wonderful! the sauce on the scampi was so good I had too much bread so I could scoop up all... More

I have been to Chantilly many times for business lunches and dinners. In its own building with a beautiful interior, Chantilly sets a stage for your meal that stands up well to some excellent restaurants in Europe that I have been fortunate enough to dine at. But it is, of course, the excellent food that makes you glad you are... More

I have been going to Chantilly since the 1980s. The restaurant was located in Palo Alto for many years. Chantilly moved to Redwood City (Near Atherton) in 1999. This is a classic formal continental cuisine restaurant. There is a high ceiling in the main dining room and the decor is elegant. Piano music accompanies the meals. If you are looking... More

Chantilly is a formal dining restaurant. I usually order the scampi and an interesting salad. I like both of them so much that Gus (owner) knows what to have ready when my husband and I walk in the door. The service is excellent AND friendly. Upstairs is a large room for a private party. Very helpful in time of family... More

I had dinner with a long time friend who is a frequent guest of this restaurant. I got there early and had a drink at the bar. The bar tenders and servers were very friendly, The owner came over and recommended a particular champagne which I enjoyed. He asked me if I was dining with someone and I said yes.... More

You will experience past and present. Table, decoration makes me feel that I may live in mid of 20 century but, food is awesome! Appetizer, salad, entree and dessert are very delicious. I felt the shelf's pride and craftmanship. You will make special memory with your family, lover or customer there!

I went to Chantilly to celebrate a friends birthday and was impressed by the outstanding quality of the food and the overall presentation by the staff plus great wine selection but compare to LA ( where I'm from ) it is a bit overpriced in my opinion ;)
